Its still a mystery to what type of switches you can use on this mouse... the stock switches D2FP-FH1 ( LOG1 ) have appeared on Taobao for purchase but have yet to appear on Aliexpress. Its possible that D2FP-FN ( Sora 4K switches ) can work on this mouse ) and some people even spectulated that you can actually use normal mechanical switches with the 3rd pin cutoff, the idea is that 3 pin mechanical switches don't actually require for the last pin to be soldered and GPX2 supports those 2 pins. But generally asking Logitech for modding advice is a terrible idea, they never respawn nor provide replacement parts.
Just talking to Logitech was a horrible idea. There was an article by The Verge about Logitech partnering with Ifixit for self repairs. In the article they mention the sale of official parts, batteries, and repair guides. I was really hoping I would get an answer referencing that but I’m not sure Logitech is even aware of their new partnership… Very interesting about the mouse switches. Do you know if anyone has attempted to use the mechanical switches and documented it? That sounds like it could be a fun video
I personally like the Superlight 2 more. It’s lighter and if you get the add-on you can run it at 2k hz polling. But mostly it’s just personally preference to the mouse shape and weight. Most of the internals are the same/similar
What is binding mouse wheel up turbo? I have several newer mice. My main is the Pulsar X2 V2 mini. I have the black and white one. I bought the GPX 2 and returned it. Also the mouse is 3 grams lighter than the original. You can get it down to 58 without the puck.
Mouse wheel up turbo is when the software interprets a button actuation as the mouse wheel being continuously scrolled up but in turbo mode. So in Apex Legends, I can press a button to tap strafe instead of flipping the wheel up. Although it’s complete trash, the Razer synapse software lets you do this. I can seem to get it to work on Ghub expect for the G502x. When I weighed my stock GPX and the GPX 2 they were the same weight with and without puck. Manufacturing differences probably.
@@TheRageAcademy it’s easily the best mouse I have ever owned hence why I ordered the white one as well. The 4K dongle I had to order from them which was 30 bucks but it was definitely worth it. The 4K polling is noticeably better. I have fairly big hands and somehow the mouses shape with how small it’s if works perfectly. It’s only 51 gram and has some of the best quality I have seen. I spent three weeks buying and returning mice from MicroCenter and Amazon. It easily placed it self as my favorite mouse thus far.

@@connectedbones454 Are you talking about the Asus Aimlabs one? Personally I can't stand Asus software (Armory Crate). I'd take the Logi software over it any day of the week. If you're looking for a good mouse without intrusive software, take a look at some of the Lamzu stuff. Honestly, the Superlight is overpriced by like $50.00 imo. Lamzu makes a lighter mouse than the Superlight for around $100.00. Hope this helps, buddy!
