I just got the iPad Air 13 inch today. The price dropped to $699 at Target and Amazon. I have been using the same 10th generation iPad for the past six years. I’m not a gamer, not that there’s anything wrong with that 90% of what I do is streaming Netflix and RUclips. I love the screen size, and I am surprised at how much faster everything loads, including my Weather app. I hope this one last for another six years.
The 13 inch iPad Air only has a two speaker audio system, not a quad speaker array. Nice video, I'm still undecided on what size better suits my needs.
I decided to grab this M2 air 13 inch. I have the mini 6 and considered upgrading that but I decided to get this. my iPad of 8 years finally quit working so I gave it to my granddaughter so I have been looking for what I would replace it with. I considered the PRO but I do not need a pro model nor will I use it.
Mind you the 13 inch is thinner and lighter though which may be worth it for some people. Also support for pencil pro support as well, but yeah the m2 pro has its merits as well.
Great intro. I fall into the first camp but I bought the M2 iPad Pro 12.9 new before the M4 version came out. I knew I could get the M2 cheaper with the discounts I had and that the difference in performance between it and the M4 version would hardly be obvious. And thanks for not going down the “Don’t buy the iPad Pro. Get a MacBook instead” road. Both are viable devices for a variety of tasks. Subscribed! 👍
I have been carefully checking out my iPad Pro 2018 vs my Surface Pro 8 to find out which can be used fully away from my desk and at my desk. I use the Mac Mini at my desk. I am an artist so need sketching as well as productivity and entertainment. For sketching the Apple Pencil 2 very slightly edges out the Surface Pen though the surface Pen is fine. For productivity Windows on the Surface Pro 8 is light years ahead of iPadOS. Windows does it all while iPadOS does most things, some of them in an annoyingly clunky way. Great that iPadOS 18 will finally have external SSD formatting. I don't want to upgrade both since I only have time to use one most of the time. Likely will go with upgrading Surface Pro to 11 and upgrading iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2018 to iPad Air 11 inch to cover everything I do without overspending on an iPad Pro M4.
I think you will be happy with the Air 13” to be honest. You’re gonna enjoy using the new Pencil Pro for sketching. As more apps support it, you’ll be happy that you went this route later down the road.
I've been using the iPad Air 2020 for four years and it's finally time for me to upgrade. I really wish that the iPad Pro M2 was still in stock because I don't want to waste money on the M4. So this might be my next best option.
I have been saving up money for this iPad Air. I’m not a huge fan of the pro model and loved both the Mini and Air products (I do own a iPad 9th gen) this would be a good gift to me while I give my old one to one of my relatives or friends.
iPad Pro doesn't have landscape camera, and is 12.9 inches. Also if buying apple certified you do get the same warranty and a new battery, also the exterior case is new so no imperfections, only the logic board is used and you get the same warranty as new and can get apple care.
My iPad is old. I have the iPad Pro 2020 is time new get a new one. Like Tech Gear Talk said on his video “Buy it nice or buy it twice” that is his slogan. Note: If I buy an iPad is going to be the Pro M4 model.
Ipads have always been extraordinary/stunning.🧡.... But the newer ones with M series silicon is absolute no brainer for the purchase , as ipados 18 its gonna support -A. intelligence-🔥🔥 which is expected to roll out this fall 🍂
Have you used the pencil pro much with it? I'm considering getting an iPad Air (haven't had an iPad since a 2012 model), but I've read a lot of comments about overheating using the pencil, and that concerns me. I'd just be using a digital coloring app with that, and maybe some notes once in awhile.
Weird! Never ran into any issues using the Pencil Pro on either this Air or the M4 iPad Pro. I’ve only been using the app Lake with Pencil Pro and even at that, only for like 30 minutes.
If you are buying new and you can save money by going with Air, then absolutely go for it. But if you have extra cash, the new Pro is nice. Video on that coming soon!
Hey mate , I need your help , currently I need a device for high end video editing and managing my e commerce store , which one should I buy MacBook Air M1 or ipad air m2
Yes ! Because mine does get warm every single day from usage such as taking notes for hours and hours or studying for hours so I guess the iPad is making lots of effort to work that’s why. And Apple also says that when it overheats the iPad has a protection mode to stop you from using the device and once it cools down it’s fine.
I just upgraded this past weekend. Mainly for new camera placement and pencil pro. What I wasn’t expecting is how great the display is. If you can swing it I recommend the upgrade. Getting 310.00 plus a 100 gc had me walking away with a new iPad and new pencil for 415.00. No brainer.
Im good w ipad air, especially now that its 13”…..It s a no brainer. And im still rockin ipad air 4 w my eyes on new air. I dont even use 120hz on my fold 5. Just one more thing that burns the battery. Angry fans can complain all day, just let em pay more. Win win

@@skorpyo331 Tbf a pro motion display supports 1-120hz and is therefor actually battery saving as instead of constantly refreshing 60 times a second it can refresh at a rate as low as 1 time per second or up to 120 times a second depending on your need and it does all that fully automatic

Well the difference for me was $150 USD and also a $100 gift card. So basically $250 And with that $100 I bought a pencil pro. The air is more than enough for my needs
@@Hazadoor it's more than enough for many people but the screen difference is a deal breaker for many who got used to 120hz, cheaper android tablets are using 120hz displays.
I just bought a 13” AIR. Coming from a 2020 IPP that was cracked. Received a $400 credit and didn’t want to buy a new keyboard. I took advantage of Apples back to school program that was $50 off and a $100 GC that I put towards a new Pencil Pro. For me the landscape camera was the deciding factor over the M1 Pro refurb for similar cost.

Stereo speakers, but two openings on both top and bottom :) I'll confirm with Apple though if they are quad speakers, but I'm pretty sure they are.
