Then you watch a review of it and that’s on almost all of the negatives list for it. I think crazy water resistance requirements for a watch to be “good” is ridiculous.
I believe the watch stopped beeping because you took off the case back. There is a very thin speaker on the inside of Casio case backs. This is electrified by a small spring that comes out of the movement and connects to the speaker. If the spring is still in the movement (they're very easy to lose) and you put the case back back on, I'm certain the speaker would continue to produce your beep.
There's a very good chance the beeping stopped when you removed the back plate, because the back plate contains the speaker. Which just happens to look like a sticker.

I don t think that every push of the lever equals to 2m as being a constant in this experiment. One of the best videos on casio I've seen (the other one is Teddy Baltassarre throwing G-SHOCKS out of a helicopter). This is probably the best review on the A158WA-1 without being a review. Awesome video. Great job.
Appreciate it! I found it very interesting!
thanks for this. I just got me a Casio A168W 5 days ago. Nice to know this informaton.
Of course it would stop beeping if you took the back off, most digital watches have a very small spring that touches the back which aides with the beeping.
I think it waa the hydraulic press channel, but someone made a similar video with a g-shock casio (rated to 200m) and it went to around 600m before failure. So needless to say casio makes good product
Now we are left with the doubt of how much the Apple Watch resists... Casio Forever!!!
Impressive test...thanks for the excellent demo!
I wonder if other cheap brands can behave so well like this, like Skmei - 30 m ?
As long as I know I can go swimming, long boarding, and surfing with my cheaper Casio watches, then I'm happy with that.
Retail shop says avoid to swim with this watch , but I have no idea about diving and swimming pressure difference.
I bought a casio just because of this video...Respect ...
Love it!
That Casio is savage 😮😮🎉
Absolutely tough as nails. I'm never afraid to get my Casio's wet, they're just amazing. ❤
bro risk his face from possible exploding pressure chamber. Just amazing Casio watches
Its the A158?
Thank you for this videis. Very helpful, now im not afraid to buy regular casio.
Too bad for poor Casio! 😟
What are you using, exactly, to simulate the pressure? What's the name of the device (brand, model)?
Interesting video! I was worried about surfing with my Casio. Not anymore
Modern Watches: Oh no water!!!
$30 Casio: I am happy to go swimming🙂
Im really (good )surprised ! I was in total confidence for 150 feets(5 atm+1) but i never imagine theese astoning performance. For casio vintage ! Personally i just watch hands with Casio vintage no more ! FOR SEE BATH I HAVE mdv 107 and mtd 1053 20 atm certified
Great video very well done. I know why I've been wearing Casio and G-Shock watches for 30 years.
There are watches… and then there are Casios
That’s not my experience at all, my Casio stopped working after some light snorkeling - at most 3-4 meter. But that was 10 years ago, maybe they are better now or I had a bad example back then. I would recommend a G-Shock anyway if you’re planning on getting it wet.
(late comment) I still have the Seiko5 I was wearing for my first three "fun" dives, hell itlooked like a dive watch😂 B4 the sub people used to dive with Oyster Perpetuals, my divemaster instructor wore a gmt to dive in.
I have about 45 Casio watches in my collection (including the 158 you just killed). Amazing watches, you can't go wrong when buying a Casio. Any Casio.
I don't understand did you put Apple watch and Casio watch together????
The interesting thing is that being electronic you could easily modify it to make it "without limits", just fill it with petroleum jelly oil.
I tried an oil mod on an F91 but oil leaked out when I pressed the buttons.
Interesting video 👍👍
great video bro, you might want to buy a good quality safety googles for similar tests in future.
What's watch name in video
