I was lucky enough to see this instrument right after it was finished. Awesome guitar with a character and vibe. True.

This tone is incredible!!! She’s got the tonal qualities of the 5 best of the crop vintage Telecasters I’ve ever heard. Bravo for thé excellent playing demo👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing tone issues with roasted maple, I was starting to think I'm crazy. I built a guitar with roasted maple neck and roasted basswood body. The tone is not very resonant, sort of dark and lifeless.

Phil McKnight has mentioned only liking lighter roasted maple too, as he thinks the darkest roasted maple feels more stiff and lifeless to him. Maybe something to it.

I have a roasted maple neck on a guitar that I'm not so sure about as well. It may be better if I swap it out.

Amazing guitar. Im wondering are those roasted pine bodies harder than a regular pine? Regular pine is really soft wood as i know, but some folks still use them as a tone material.
