If you submit the photo based on the video, it will be rejected. You cannot make any changes to the photo, only crop it to 600x600 as in the first half of the video. But by removing the background, the photo is modified and immediately excluded from the system. Future applicants should keep this in mind.

You can use the name on your birth certificate (source document for your passport). Do the same for your spouse. However, note that the names used must match the respective names on your marriage certificate if the marriage has been registered.

You can apply but if you win, you have to get married before you go to the interview. You will present legal document of marriage. There is chance to apply 2 dv candidates as you are main applicant and your boyfriend as main applicant Also. Be careful of editing pictures! Good luck
