I bought a motorcycle just to beat gas prices. I went out and bought a dual sport as well. 2001 Yamaha. Xt225. So far I saved probably 800 bucks in gas in one year.
Not sure on the name of those birds however i do know they lay their eggs in rock or gravel instead of nesting in high places. They will always run away thn fly in the opposite direction of their nest when approched. Edit: killdeer birds 🤣
If you are brave and mechanically inclined, you can find bikes that are in the basket for less and rebuild them exactly how you prefer. There are many people out there who start an overhaul and lose motivation, patience, and funds.
Cody those birds looked like Killdeer (R is silent) they are unique and build their nest on the ground in gravel/ rock areas. The mother will act like she is wounded and run away from the nest leading a human away.

Great bike Wranglestar. I have the 2014 and love it. The reliability and power are on point for my riding. Great find.
Man I had a 2012 XR-650 L for about three years and I loved it. I put a Vance and Hines exhaust on it which really helped open it up. But when I moved into my house I had new priorities unfortunately and I had to sell it so we’d have one less bill to worry about.
Great little bike! I've always liked the Honda xr's
The steel table.... what brand is it? I need one for my workshop.
Hey bro, I think you'd be better off in a SHTF scenario with the black version for stealth at night.
Why not keep it black, or even better camo it. Seems like that would be the wise decision to make in this shtf world looming ahead. Bright honda, snapon, craftsman, Milwaukee, Ducati, Ferrari Red seems the exact opposite of what you would want to do?
I just got the 2018 250 rally a couple weeks ago. Perfect dual sport
Killdeer. They make nests on the ground. Probably a nest in your grass.
Wouldn’t you want it to be a dark color instead of bright red if you needed to use it in a dystopian nightmare?
Have definitely missed the longer videos!
Those birds look like snipes
I bought a hawk 250 last year. 2,000 shipped to my house fully assembled. Dont regret my purchase for a second. Runs awesome, I take it places I would never dream of going with a car or even a truck for that matter.
Wouldn't a proho want an all black bike? With options to black out the lights too?
Nice bike! Those little birds are Killdeer. They lay eggs on the ground. If you get close to the newt the mother bird will fake a broken wing to draw you away from the nest.
I bought a 05 crf250x supermoto and got one season out of it an its now locked up guy wanted 3500 i picked it up for 2800 now i feel like it would cost more than its worth to fix it really big bummer
So why go back to bright red and white? I understand it looks far better and in original. But if your buying for where the country is headed, would it not be better and more stealthy or 'Grey Man' to stick with black?
Cody I stopped following super and motocross when I stopped racing tracks and went to GNCC. I think you would highly enjoy watching the red bull harscrambles very very impressive.
I bought a motorcycle just to beat gas prices. I went out and bought a dual sport as well. 2001 Yamaha. Xt225. So far I saved probably 800 bucks in gas in one year.
I bought my yz450 with a brand new top end for $1300 and it was already set up for the trails
The shock reservoir being attached to the motor sort of defeats the purpose of a shock reservoir, to keep the shock oil cool. I would relocate that.
I agree.
Finally a video in the right direction
Does any have the link for the stainless folding wall table? Around 3:33
Thanks!
Cody those birds looked like Killdeer (R is silent) they are unique and build their nest on the ground in gravel/ rock areas. The mother will act like she is wounded and run away from the nest leading a human away.
If SHTF I think a black bike would be a little bit better than a bright red one tbh.
