As a Chinese player I started playing this since I was 9, with a quite limited level of English. Well it was this game that evoked my interest for learning English! But back then because of my limited English I didn't get it that Mr. Jones was actually a KGB who created the commotion in the underground base...It is just so excitingly thrilling to watch it back here and find out this truth!

I like to think of video games as treasures in a chest. Like if fallout new vegas was my version of treasure, then it would be a Diamond Encrusted Sword or if Dark souls would be an engraved Silver Goblet. Freedom Fighters to me is a Golden Crown with a saphire as the center piece.

You will need to cap the framerate to 60FPS. Framerates higher than 60 FPS will cause issues with camera, animations, and player physics.
13:18 - Awww, man! You have just wasted two magazines of precious SVD ammo... My strategy is simple. Usually I plant C4, and when I'm away from the blast radius, and I'm almost in cover I shoot a couple of bullets to draw the snipers attention. Doing so, they will be facing in my direction, so when the party blows up, the SVD-s will fall in front of the silos. I just replace my AK with sniper rifle, and the party's on! You can easily clear the subway tunnel, so nobody will spoil my good, old-fashioned turkey hunting. Out of ammo? No problem! You can throw the molotovs, which is great for it's immediate area effect. And don't forget! You have a pistol as well - a relatively precise handgun for close combat. :))) If you are nimble enough to deal headshots instead of "two aces and a deuce", you can easily clear the area of the main entrance. (And that's the point when you will have your AK back - my personal record was achieved, when I've had enough ammo to clear the mezzanine as well inside the building, so I could advance effortlessly to the offices). It's not really guerilla-style, but it's a somewhat oddly satisfying, and funny way to kick their asses... 😆😆😆😆 And the best of all: It works even on the hardest difficulty. :)))

Getting this on STEAM. Used to love this game! Where did this genre go?? Squad based shooters?? We need them back
Publishers chasing "Live Service" trends is why we don't really have games like this. Here's hoping after IO Interactive finish with Hitman 3 and the upcoming 007 game, we might see Freedom Fighter 2. Although apolitical gamers will complain that the game will be "Too political" for their fragile minds to handle.

I dont know if anyone noticed but when i play this game i get a hitman kind of atmosphere when i play,the music ,the sound effects,the shooting;the way how the characters is moving is very much similar to the earlier hitman video games,so i found out EA was working on this game and IO interactive the company that made hitman 2 very awesome wow

I beat it without cheats couple of times but when i used the codes it was just the sniper+pistol combo. It was the best combo. Man i miss those school days with no worries at all.
