So easy yet I'm having troubles with the extra game pack. No matter what I do it still only shows 148 games. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. As of now whenever I have the added game pack on the USB stick it won't even let me go into the Hylostick menu. Any suggestions? I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. I'm using a Mac and a Samsung 64 GB drive. The main hylostick hack works just fine until I add the game pack.
@@n8ash82 maybe it's a MAC thing? I never touch macs. I use windows 10. Drop the files, overwrite the old ones when the pop up appears and you're done. Some modding stuff in the wild like coinopsx for example has to be done on PC for everything to go through correctly. I'm just spitballing.

Hi@@n8ash82 , your version and the two packs are not merge together. Not like the one he have. So you have to boot up Neogeo or Capcom. His version you can added more games to it. Neo Geo and Capcom and Arcade are all together. If someone share that image with me I can put more games to it.
Hylo team made the MVSX one of my favorite machines. Lots of hidden gems with Neo Geo and Capcom that I never played before the hack. Love it! Great video PDubs.

You should get the refresh on there. It will update the NEO GEO menu and give you some further customization for button mapping, second menu options to filter, sports, fighters, etc.
I love that the MVSX is a countertop unit. I think more companies (hint hint AtGames) should release a countertop multicade unit. Even with this awesome Hylo mod, though, my main reservation is that there's still a limit to the games that we could add or play on the MVSX, at least as of now.
Great video. I agree that I wouldn’t update the unit or buy games if they’re going to block Hylo. It would be a really unwise decision for them to build that into official game packs, as that will deter many people from buying them, including me.
Alan, you know that once the hack it out there, it will be found again lol. Just do not update unit and keep the hack when found. This unit does not have any major problems that need updating anyways.
Sounds like this hack is long gone. Anyone know a way to find it still? I was just about to buy an MVSX with this mod being the main reason for my purchase.
Hey P-Dubs got an inquiry I just got one of these MVSX with hulk x on it already. My question is so guy has hylo x on usb with more games on it . He said I would have to factory reset after I took out the pre existing USB and insert his USB and update . Sry not to tech savvy but will this work. I know they don't support this any more am I good to go don't want to lose the hylo x I already have on it just trying to get few games don't have like wrestlefest, wwf supersars,wrestle war ...any help be greatly appreciated
I am not too technically adept so had a few newbie questions. Could the increased graphics in games such as Street Fighter Third Strike cause the original board to overheat? If I wanted to dedicate this to only Neo Geo only games could I just delete the other ROMs on the USB stick? Thanks!
I finally was able to do the Hylo Hack, but unfortunately neither of the TMNT arcade games will work. All the other arcade games work great so far. Anyone else having issues with the TMNT and is there a way to get them to work?

So does this mean that the USB stick needs to always stay plugged in? Also is that prompt always going to pop up asking if you want to launch the original line up of games or the Hylox line up?
This is the easiest soft mod I have ever seen. Even easier than the psp soft mod which was also drag and drop. Couple notes the bios used is unibios 4.0 which is the most up to date with built in cheats and other dip switch features. It uses FBA so the emulation will be very fast and accurate. Not sure if the games have been individually optimized to reduce or eliminate slowdowns which is possible in fba with overclock cpu feature. I want this cab now.
Where can we find more info on official game pack releases? Can't find that anywhere. Also does anyone have a full game list of all 242 hylo hack games?

John was trying to keep his own ass safe. If the arcade market is flooded with cabs made by people who are making these rom packs, then developers might not want to take part in it anymore. That said, I love Bill and quickly trust the guy and his business. Might pick up the mvsx sometime soon

Oh geez let's go in and count them...1, 2, 3...now I'm bored. Tutorial is fine. Add Hylox with Capcom pack and add retroarch which I didn't show in this video (that's separate) and you'll have more than 148 games available to play.
This HyloX hack is literally drag and drop, it's extremely uncomplicated and almost too straight forward. Just make sure the card is formatted in FAT32 first and you're golden.

Hmmm..can't just take his flash drive and yours plug them into a PC and copy over the additional games you want to add? Might want to try that.
my mvsx just arrived and it has firmware 2.0i and it doesn't recognize update file

Very easy mod 10-20 mins of work to enhance your MVSX experience 😀. This hack was what made put me over the hump to buy thus cabinet.
