- From "Shin Sakura Taisen," the Sakura Wars reboot title that launched for the PlayStation4 in 2019, comes a new Koubu unit: the Spiricle Striker Mugen! There are two versions; detailed kits that are based on Sakura Amamiya's and Seijurou Kamiyama's personalized mechs from the game,
Both models feature an extension gimmick that enables expansion and contraction at the joints of the hands and feet to increase their range of action poses. The cockpit hatch can open to reveal the faithfully recreated cockpit inside, as well as the included character figure.
Be sure to add these to your collection today!

these definitely feel like a huge step-up from the previous kits, the gold parts are awesome and makes it look really nice even without using all the stickers, which I really appreciate.
Fun fact Sakura's machine seen in this model kit never saw combat in the game. It's only used in computer simulations for training missions.
These look pretty interesting, Especially the head with that mono eye. It reminds me of grey fox from metal gear.
one thing that i wasn't expecting to like as much as i do:
The Zero Fighter nose backpack
i find that idea equal parts confusing, weird and charming
Surprisingly great looking kit. I will have to check it out and give a good paint job.
Great review of these nice kits! To me the new Koubu units have a more modern, almost futuristic look, which is really cool!
They look so beautiful. I just wish they were a bit more articulated, but with those robot designs it's a difficult task.
Im a simple guy, i see bulky armor/mechas i like, the head also reminds me of a warlord titan
I like the designs too, bulky and whit mono eyes jeje. One mugen whit a little troop of budokays sound great.
2:00 i actually laughed irl when this happened, thats nothing! those are little baby stickers
For me, I would NEED to paint the gold.
Yea its not impossible for those edges and lines
know its been ahile but i just finshed rhe white one but having lots of trouble with the left arm poping off super easy, any tups?
1920's futurist aesthetic is called Diesel punk, not steam punk
There is this color that is the same as the sakuras shoulders that make me wonder if I should paint the pink also in that color, tho I am a fan of Samurai culture and cherry blossoms.
Bulky is always better!
also loving their designs aswell
They seem to be getting bigger and bigger!
It wont hurt to paint it. Beats caramel.
the 90s are back..
New to this, but loving the game, so... how much assembly is required for these kits? Are the parts all pre-coloured? Just snap, file, slot together or glue required?
That's right -- the assembly is much like Gunpla. Snapfit, parts molded in color, no paint required unless you want more detail than what's offered out of box.
So far the water slide decals have been a pain for me but this is the first time using water decals
Which one do you recommend, the pink one or the white one?
Wonder if a desktop army can fit there?
They look like they may be able to right?
@@hobbylinktv maybe
Do you know if these are limited run or limited edition? Could I import these a month from now or will they all be gone?
The old ones before these are still available to order so I think they will continue to make them.
This review was nice and bulky.
Ultra instinct Joel anime
Are these 1/12 scale?
..1/24..
the new Mugens at least dont look like trashcans with some tubes on them (just think the first design is weird)
the original ones are 1996 design aesthetics
If only the gold is chrome...maybe limited edition later
They seem to be pumping these out so hopefully there will be a lot more designs to come.
Zeon got weird.
Not a fan of the pearlescent colors tbh
Bandai....stickers... just stop with this shit
