Nothing is done if the animal can feel pain If an animal is hurt it is humanely euthanized. without animal testing animals or humans would not have any medicine and everything would be so much more dangerous. These animals were bred for research no random animal will get hurt. I am a vet who works for these tested animals. I make sure they aren't in pain and that they save many many more lives. Even if an animal dies its not in vein and dont let its death go to waste, Use medications and support humane animal testing!

currently, i’m fostering a rabbit who was rescued from a testing lab. she’s beautiful and such a gentle soul, and it breaks my heart when i just move my hand and she flinches in fear. it’s taken a while to get her comfortable with being petted, and though she’s made incredible strides and has become much happier, she’s going to have a long road to being a normal rabbit. i can’t imagine the thought process of anyone that says this is okay.

@Productive Ocean there's a 1 in 3.7 million chance of being killed by a shark, where as around 100, 000 to 200,000 animals are killed annually by testing like this. Just because they're animals doesn't make it right or mean that we cant help make a change.
@Productive Ocean I do understand where you are coming from and nothing will stop us from being top of the food chain but there are way more humane ways of killing animals for food- but we're not talking about food here we're talking about how beauty cosmetics are tested on animals, and the reason why they have human traits to them in this video is to connect with people in hopes that they might help to make a change and realise what's actually happening to animals before they get their shampoos, toothpastes, make up, fragrances and more. This isn't about eating animals, this is about stopping them from being used as test subjects for the sake of someone looking prettier. Ralph once had a family, it seems he had 3 kids and a wife. After they experimented on all of them but Ralph survived. After their death he tries to forget and hold it in but he just has a certain emptiness that you can feel. Truly a touching short film that shows you the cruelty of animal testing. I didnt watch it it would be too sad but I was already thinking non stop about animal testing for several years even before this video came out. I spend all my time finding scientists online and insulting them. I met many sick fucks online. The stuff they said haunts me. I met thousands of scientists no exaggeration and doctors. The whole medical field and scientific is based on animal testing. The whole fields should be destroyed. All medical research and scientific is mad Science experiments on animals. They have to stop making medicine it's torture. It's better for people to die than torture the weak and defenceless. Not saying refuse medicine that's impossible and those taking it aren't to blame for this atrocity. But they shouldn't make it in the first place.

@Resolver 101 I don’t support animal testing, but it doesn’t work that way. If you try it on dead animals, you wouldn’t be able to realize internal problems that may happen because the inside of the animal wouldn’t function anymore. I feel like there is no other way to stop animal cruelty unless we start testing on humans, but that would cause total chaos. it isn’t as easy as you make it sound, sadly.
And still...they can buy it cruelty free. There are so many alternatives nowadays. And the myth of these alternatives being more expensive is debunked also. It takes education, will and, most of all, empathy.
Yeah but soaps and shampoos are essential... there's alternatives of course, some more expensive than others. Or you can make your own. For example my grandma likes to wash her hair with egg mixed with essential oil or sometimes dry rice (yes really).

@@stantamara1959 please don't give up brushing your teeth, the rabbit wouldn't want you to feel the pain of losing your teeth, that doesn't help him. There is makeup / toothpaste / soap / shampoo that isn't tested on animals and isn't sold in countries where testing is obligatory. It takes a while to get familiar with which brands to use but it is so worth it and once you've done it it's easy to just keep buying them.

Same. Animals aren't here for us, they are here with us. The argument "they were bred for this purpose" doesn't justify hurting them if we can avoid it. I'll always prefer watching bunnies hopping in the grass and pigs having zoomies on the pastures instead of them being tortured and killed all the time. Most people prefer that. But they just look the other way and don't want to realize who they are actually funding with every purchase.
This is so heartbreaking. Knowing that most of the makeup companies that use animal testing hold the biggest and famous brands to which the majority is looking up to. The fact that some brand ambassadors are blindly promoting the product without knowing how it was produced is disappointing too. No one should be sacrificed for the name of beauty.
I’d also like to add that most of the big cosmetics brands don’t test on animals and use a cruelty-free policy unless required by law. Unfortunately this is the case in China, where foreign cosmetics HAVE to be tested on animals in order to be represented on their market. For many brands this is a huge opportunity due to the population size and the big demand for cosmetics, so they choose to test on animals. That is their fault, of course, but losing China, the biggest market, would damage them tremendously. Though other countries are also contributing to this issue, afaik their legislations only involve the approval/prohibition of animal testing in some cases without requiring it
@@Ch-ov3he Well said 👍 I agree we should encourage bans in other countries. Like you say though, if a company breeds and kills our fellow animals through testing - that's still on them. I think we're probably far more likely to be successful boycotting companies in our own countries rather than hoping another government will change their policy. I think this also creates dangerous moral distance, if some who are moved by this film say 'I'll just wait until other countries ban it' or 'it's China's fault.' The sad truth is we don’t even need to test cosmetics on animals anymore the only reason we do it is because countries like China make it apart of their regulations that any product that’s exported to them must be tested (even when they don’t need to be) and companies love exporting goods to China due to the consumerism there. Sadly, culturally, China does not care as much about animal rights, the government barely cares about human rights.

Nothing is done if the animal can feel pain If an animal is hurt it is humanely euthanized. without animal testing animals or humans would not have any medicine and everything would be so much more dangerous. These animals were bred for research no random animal will get hurt. I am a vet who works for these tested animals. I make sure they aren't in pain and that they save many many more lives. Even if an animal dies its not in vein and dont let its death go to waste, Use medications and support humane animal testing!

currently, i’m fostering a rabbit who was rescued from a testing lab. she’s beautiful and such a gentle soul, and it breaks my heart when i just move my hand and she flinches in fear. it’s taken a while to get her comfortable with being petted, and though she’s made incredible strides and has become much happier, she’s going to have a long road to being a normal rabbit. i can’t imagine the thought process of anyone that says this is okay.

Ralph once had a family, it seems he had 3 kids and a wife. After they experimented on all of them but Ralph survived. After their death he tries to forget and hold it in but he just has a certain emptiness that you can feel. Truly a touching short film that shows you the cruelty of animal testing. A loving being being tortured for the use of humans.

I didnt watch it it would be too sad but I was already thinking non stop about animal testing for several years even before this video came out. I spend all my time finding scientists online and insulting them. I met many sick fucks online. The stuff they said haunts me. I met thousands of scientists no exaggeration and doctors. The whole medical field and scientific is based on animal testing. The whole fields should be destroyed. All medical research and scientific is mad Science experiments on animals. They have to stop making medicine it's torture. It's better for people to die than torture the weak and defenceless. If you try it on dead animals, you wouldn’t be able to realize internal problems that may happen because the inside of the animal wouldn’t function anymore. I feel like there is no other way to stop animal cruelty unless we start testing on humans, but that would cause total chaos. it isn’t as easy as you make it sound, sadly.

There is makeup / toothpaste / soap / shampoo that isn't tested on animals and isn't sold in countries where testing is obligatory. It takes a while to get familiar with which brands to use but it is so worth it and once you've done it it's easy to just keep buying them.

Same. Animals aren't here for us, they are here with us. The argument "they were bred for this purpose" doesn't justify hurting them if we can avoid it. I'll always prefer watching bunnies hopping in the grass and pigs having zoomies on the pastures instead of them being tortured and killed all the time. Most people prefer that. This is so heartbreaking. Knowing that most of the makeup companies that use animal testing hold the biggest and famous brands to which the majority is looking up to. The fact that some brand ambassadors are blindly promoting the product without knowing how it was produced is disappointing too. No one should be sacrificed for the name of beauty.

I’d also like to add that most of the big cosmetics brands don’t test on animals and use a cruelty-free policy unless required by law. Unfortunately this is the case in China, where foreign cosmetics HAVE to be tested on animals in order to be represented on their market. For many brands this is a huge opportunity due to the population size and the big demand for cosmetics, so they choose to test on animals. That is their fault, of course, but losing China, the biggest market, would damage them tremendously. Though other countries are also contributing to this issue, afaik their legislations only involve the approval/prohibition of animal testing in some cases without requiring it

I think we're probably far more likely to be successful boycotting companies in our own countries rather than hoping another government will change their policy. I think this also creates dangerous moral distance, if some who are moved by this film say 'I'll just wait until other countries ban it' or 'it's China's fault.' (I'm not trying to suggest you're saying this)
I'm a big proponent of individual change, through opposing animal testing and animal use in general. After all we're a society made up of 8B individuals. This hits real deep. The animation looks cute while the story is basically inhuman.
The sad truth is we don’t even need to test cosmetics on animals anymore the only reason we do it is because countries like China make it apart of their regulations that any product that’s exported to them must be tested (even when they don’t need to be) and companies love exporting goods to China due to the consumerism there. Sadly, culturally, China does not care as much about animal rights, the government barely cares about human rights.

If you say "I don't buy your products because of animal testing" you can hit them in the profit and they are more likely to change (more likely, not guaranteed) because they will have metrics for understanding the lost sales. Please don't think I'm high-roading you, I am just letting you know in case you decide to act further.

I think about it all day everyday all doctors and scientists should be punished for this even the ones that dont torture still support it and say its not even bad. Their whole fields are evil. They should stop all medical research and scientific thats the only way to stop animal testing. They should stop making medicine so people wont be able to use it and die.
