45:00 the white one with the cool bumper is me:) the wing is indeed carbon fibre but it’s had a long hard life throughout its many owners🤣 I should have left the bonnet up a bit longer, you’d have seen the DIY ITBs

At 24:30 that's my pal's NBFL, mine is the NB-RS to the right on RPF1s. Both turbocharged on stock internals. My rear left drop-link decided to fall off 10 minutes from Japfest and was rubbing against the driveshaft on the way in making a horrible noise. Managed to fix it up with the help of some MX5 Europe regulars and drive a track session in the afternoon 👍

Have taken on my son's MX5 Mk1 (Japanese import) as he lives in New York. Like one at 39:47 with spoiler. Its pretty solid but needs some body attention, largely paintwork. Are the Mk1 the most wanted, like Mk1 Golfs. Uncertain whether to restore it.

Had mine tuned by hybrid tune too,, not so impressed. Didnt bother with drivability, same old story.
