While they were recording the third verse of Stan, Eminem had gotten all the way to the last 3 lines and had screwed up. So all the engineer had to do was punch in Eminem's vocals at the end so he could re-do that line and the verse was finished. Back then they were recording on 2 inch tape, so once you recorded over something it’s gone forever. Eminem's in the booth waiting and the engineer backs the tape up all the way to the beginning of the verse and punches Eminem in. Eminem realized the engineer's in the wrong spot and Eminem couldn’t hear any of his vocals so he starts waving his arms and yelling in the mic to try to get the engineer's attention. He doesn’t notice so Eminem runs into the control room through a cloud of smoke and yells “Yo, I wanted to keep those vocals” the engineer just looked at him and said “My bad man…you wanna hit this?” the first half of the verse was gone. Eminem re-recorded it but said we should have heard the original take that shit was way better Eminem also said there was a verse where Stan got out of the water. He escaped and came to Eminem's house to kill him and then Eminem had to kill him first but missed him. Na terceira parte o cara put0 mais ainda e grava uma fita no carro, ele tá puto pq eminem nn viu as 2 cartas, ele fica mais depressivo ainda por seu idolo o ignorar, sua vida tá uma merda então ele resolve dar um fim há isso.
Ele sequestra sua namorada grávida e fica bêbado, entra em um carro para se jogar de uma ponte e se mat4r, ele destaca que deixa sua namorada viva para ela sofrer aos poucos.
