yeah I've noticed multiple people online who aren't a fan of the western styles of fursuits, but love the kemono style fursuits that are common in east-asia. which is understandable, they're really cute and pretty
When I was 10 there was a video on my recommendation called fursuiting 101. It kept popping up and then I decided to click on it and after watching a 40 minute video of a bunch of adult running around in animal costumes,my tiny 10 year old brain was like *"I wanna do that"* And then my oh so supportive mother helped me accomplish my dream. Not a furry anymore but I still support them :)
I would love to tell my mother I'm a furry, I want to buy a raptor mask for Halloween and yeah, go out whit it, but to get the materials for the fur, the ears and the paws, I need to go very far from home, I could use Uber or smt idk but my mom can track my phone lol Update: I bought the mask, I watching some tutorials to put the fur and those things so I can go to a convention with it lol

At first I thought furries were z00s and I avoided them because of all the rumors spread about them. After a while I forgot they existed until someone called me one. I got curious what it meant and looked it up, and found out it wasn't a bad thing at all. I got into drawing furry art and I still make a lot of cool furry stories! Someday I'm planning on making my own fursuit and going to cons! The fandom is so supportive, fun, and talented and I don't regret joining it one bit. Love you guys and be yourself!

Sonny is sweet, playful and lovable, just like me! I tried drawing him, but I think I need to comission an artist lol

I was the other way around, like "yeah I'm a furry, but not one of those who take their hobby outside". Then one of your videos randomly appeared in my recommendation a few days ago and I almost started crying for what I have been missing all this time! Now I really want a fursuit. But until I can afford one I will hang around to admire them online...

I think that a lot of us have similar stories to this, I used to be an Anti-fur too, but after seeing how kind and expansive the furry fandom was, pretty much during the pandemic, I became a furry, it was the best decision of my whole damn life. I don’t regret becoming a furry whatsoever, I’ve been one for 4 years now.
