- In this video, we give a tour of City of Rocks State Park and show you the best campsites. City of Rocks State Park is located 28 miles north of Deming, New Mexico. Many campsites are nestled in and among huge boulders which makes for a unique camping experience. There is a fresh water fill, hot showers, flush toilets, and four separate vault toilets at City of Rocks State Park. We did not find a dump station in the park. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 14.9 Mbps download speed and 0.72 Mbps upload speed. T-Mobile cellular service clocked in at 24.0 Mbps download speed and 4.43 Mbps upload speed. There was no AT&T cellular service at this location.

This campground was so cool ! Loved the visitor center, and that it had a gift shop....I love my gift shops lol !!! I like how the sites had covers over the tables and a cement pad for the table. Landscape is sooo amazing ! The big rocks just amaze me , to say the least. How did they get there, and in different groups that they are?!! This place must be billions of years old. Its just Astonishing !!! Loved this video !!! vicky

I’m so jealous!!! I had a trip planned in May to take my son & nephew, but I unfortunately had to cancel our reservations due to a back injury I have 😭 BUT! Aim so happy to see this because I will be rescheduling our trip (in cooler weather 👌🏽). ENJOY 🏕

That’s why rv’s have the ability to level. You could pass up a beautiful site if you only camped on level sites. Folks don’t pass up these great sites. It’s camping after all!
