In this moment, Evelyn is the true definition of a woman/mother. The love and respect she showed Tamar is so beautiful. She wasn't overly aggressive or verbally violent. She was in full control and took ownership of herself and her emotions the same way she wants Tamar to do. She remained calm throughout her interaction with her child. She even acknowledged her childs pain and frustration. Defended her without exposing Tamar in front of everybody. WOW! this was such a teachable moment. Not sure if people caught any of that. Yes, Evelyn checked Tamar. But she did it with the UTMOST honor and respect for her child. I don't see this often. A lot of parents make the mistake of loosing control themselves, when trying to control their child. Even Iyanla was pleased. GO EVELYN! 🙌🙌🙌

Tamar was the Only one Not gotten together by her mother raising her voice... and then for mom to then try to justify her bad behavior (mom) "I know you're hurting...", (Tamar) "I ain't hurting..." w/eyes rolling, neck twisting, lips turnt... Obviously a good job was done with five out of the six Braxton kids, but that last one, at 41 years old, still needs to be raised.

I think this is very reflective to what is going on and what has happen to Tamar recently this month of the year of 2020.
