some Lovecraft yay! 😄 one of the first stories he wrote in adulthood too and largely contributed to his mythos stories later in life. still a haunting story over a century later and you did a brilliant job of bringing it to life

see bro this is why i adore horror so much because how does one man come up with an idea of the main protagonist unaliving himself after seeing a big giant fish tentacle creature coming out the ocean after WW1. just *chefs kiss*
and of course great job with the reading and sounds to accompany it 🖤

constantly impressed by how well you narrate these stories and put the life and sounds needed into them 🖤 Dagon was the first thing i read from Lovecraft, and be in love with his work ever since. great job, and thank you for your constant hard work throughout this month. it’s much appreciated 🖤🥰

finding out that Lovecraft was good at reading and writing by age 3 (i think, somewhere around there) makes sense because the way he describes the world and settings in his story is incredible. loved this and you did an excellent job immersing us into the story as always 💜

i can’t believe bro had the will and patience to stay around the mire for 3 mf days I would’ve gone crazy from the smells alone 😭
(before anyone begins to argue with me yes ik narrator is a WWI soldier who has probably seen worse things up until this point i am just speaking from MY perspective aka someone who has NOT been in war)

An excellent choice, beautifully narrated! I love spooky season so much, it’s going to be such a letdown when October is over and we’re immediately into all the winter holiday cheer. 😅
(At least for us spooky all year long folks 🕷️ 🦇 🥺)

quick question: are these story times just for October or are they gonna continue somewhat after this month is over? just curious!
(and i love this story and how much of a weirdo Lovecraft was and you did amazing as usual 💛)

him and Poe are my biggest inspirations for writing 🖤 such an important, influential story and you nailed it perfectly. seriously you’re a talented man in general but you have a real knack for horror honestly. well done 🖤
