One of the best videos of the "new minute waltz". The only detail that is maybe missing (which Chopin would have applauded, I am sure) is a slight alteration of the melodic line in measures 13-14 during the repetition. I want to see a movie where Timothee Chalameaut plays Chopin. It's almost as if he was born for the role 😅. And maybe make it where it is an alternative version of his story where he (Chopin) lived to the age of Luigi Cherubini (who lived to 81) like Grmzalya said he could have if it weren't for George Sand and how that would be like. Imagine if Chopin heard Camille Saent-Saens? Or Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky? That would have been amazing.

Chopin heard Mozart dropped a new banger this year and couldn't stay quiet

Thanks for sharing! The straightforwardness of your performance is welcome, as all the others I've heard so far have used such extreme rubato as to be incoherent. It's a waltz, after all, and should be danceable; all the other players would have the dancers fall on the floor in a heap!
