Why do you think the Lyr is better than the Demonfx? The reviews I have found favor the demonfx Dualgun over the Lyr. Maybe you can do a review of the Lyr vs Demonfx Dual gun.
quality is much better, asthetics maybe.. the sound is more define i think.. when you switch to distortion for the heavy hand side the distortion is more define than the dualgun.. i will make video... i just got it...
I just wrote a comment on your LYR video. Concerning the hum on that one. I read that you think the LYR one had better quality components in it, and i have seen their own comparison with the original, that was spot-on. But the hum... I cant hear it on this unit. Nothing, quiet... And you use a singlecoil in this video (?) Actually when i heard your video of this, and then some of the LYR, i thought that this one sounded better, or softer, or something. But the LYR obviously sounds "sharper", or are more defined or something. Hence my question on the other video, because if the hum comes with the LYR, i would doubtlessly choose this unit. That is why my question on the LYR hum was so important to me. (I can only guess, about grounding issues on the other guitar, or high gain on the soundcards pre-amp)
i can try and make another video with my other stratocaster concerning the hum, I will try to see , the stratocaster is an eric clapton blackie. with lace sensor pickup a friend let me borrow...
