It's dead, no lights on or anything. Don't know what exactly is wrong with it, I know the car's wiring is good and that the fault lies with the instrument cluster. I would like to be able to take it further and find the fault inside the cluster. Cheers Matt
@@mechanicmatt871 I have what I suspect may be a failing electronic power steering system from having to drive through a fairly deep puddle, a constant humming grind while not completely stopped was what developed in a day or two and what I was chasing until the other day snow melted off what had likely packed into the undercarriage and now I have a failed cluster with a good fuse. Have had a steering wheel problem where it couldn't be adjusted with the electronics and directionals & blind spot that would fail when raining but your ABS issue is what a generic code reader gave me with no detail, abs failure or similar. So if that's a puzzle piece for any of your viewers, if its not a loose wire, I suspect something with Electronic Power steering and water is the culprit for me. Appreciate the vid,
There's always something interesting in all your videos Matt 👍
Thanks 👍
A pleasure to watch
hi, good one again! you could do CAN H and CAN L with your two leads at once, the resulting voltage is what the modules see anyhow
Great technique, thanks
Where was problem ? Instrument Cluster damaged? Best regards, Great video as well
