I really like how indeed magic is connected to the person who wield it and his personality. For example Whirbel is not natural born killer, he has a binding spell to procrastinate killing. Since he is not such he could not spot Fern's bluff. But the crazy sociopath who has cutting magic could tell Fern's bluff right away.
Your reactions to the actions scenes are a joy to watch - it feels like you truly enjoy what you are watching and appreciate it. I also love your takes on Wirbel and Denken. Excited to see you react to more - as always you made my day. Thank you so much.
Richter lectures the girls on magic because he can't imagine a better way to put two teenagers to sleep (as Denkin requested) than giving them an educational lecture. It isn't for the benefit of building the setting and magic system for the audience or anything.
The sarcasm is strong here, but I like the point you're making. Also, the punchline of Richter's defeat is the girls having learned and putting his lesson to practice against him. While calling him out for it. Peak story telling.
This is so insane, if you don't actual look back you didn't notice fern. When someone with 12 become a proper mage. Denken with the highdense-physical-fist
I love that Frieren and Denken both applied their philosophy of "the greatest joy of magic lies in searching for it" to their hunt for the stille as well Could Frieren have used her skills to track down another group and take their stille? Without a doubt. Could Denken have found that other group before trying to fight frieren? I bet he could've, but Frieren preferred to take her teammates on an adventure and find one themselves, and Denken wanted to test himself against a hero he's looked up to
ooh boy all the Barrier shattering scene is so good, the OST is so peak too. Also Serie's reaction is amazing to me, chillin on her chair with a satisfied look on her face like saying: "seems like that little girl is a bit better now" :D Also worth noting the great writing as always, Frieren told the girls to not fight on day1, because she needed the entire day to analyze the barrier (as Genau said, it cannot be broken by force, so Frieren had to analyze and de-construct it). So when they fight on day2 Frieren would take down the barrier and allow Kanne to use rain.
I think you’re doing yourself and fans a disservice by doing two episodes and cutting so much of the content out. Feels like you miss many of the important small things even if ur not
Loved how proudly Lawine was talking about Kanne and her power when she gained access to water.
