I am still waiting for them to release it for PC. They have done Madden and FIFA so i dont understand why they dont release it for PC, it is the only reason why i want to get an Xbox again so i can play it again.
The AI better be alot better thats forsure. For example when the best player in the work David McConnor has the puck an just skates right into the defense 80% of the time. Better goalie AI to. More off ice stats. How about when a player gets hurt have the emt an trainer's come onto the ice. Bring the zamboni back for between peroids cleaning with period highlights playing on the jumbotron.
I think the Grutch system is for rivalries. Like when you start franchise mode and Boston and Toronto verse each other then they will give a quick summary of who has won the most games
I'm an offline only player, and I'm probably going to be disappointed again. I ended up grabbing the game last year on sale for $30, but probably shouldn't have.
@TheHockeyRy we'll see. I really hope they do something with Be a Pro. Even if they just fix the GM AI. I'll do my usual, and get the EA Play thing for a month at $5 and try it out.
That's not exactly true. They don't have time. When you're on a yearly release schedule, you have to compartmentalize alot of development and you can't focus on many areas we would like. Sports games should be live service, not yearly releases imo.
NHL 24 was one of the worst functional games I've played in a decade. The arena presentation was improved. But the commentary was meh. The overlays have been the same in at least 6 years. The controls were abysmal last year. I'll play the 10 hour preview, but its gonna have to be great to consider buying.

Plus NHL needs to stop giving exclusive licenses out just like with other games. By xmas last year they were offering me the game for 40% off when I loaded version from 2 years before. Then in Jan, 60% off. Then 40 to 60 until I think June, when it became the free game with Playstation plus member. Their sales were down last year, this trend needs to continue.

The Only thing that worries me, is that the Franchise Mode Menu will be hard to navigate, but other than that, I keep my hype balanced
