It's really good fun to make - especially when you thing that the dough is a disaster and then suddenly that moment hits where the gluten do their work and it becomes this beautiful dough! It's very satisfying :D
Cross stitcher designer. Talented musician. Now baker. You are multi talented Thank you for the recipe link. You have reminded me that I need to fire up my gluten free/vegan puff pastry recipe that I was working on over a year ago. I put it in time out. Lol. As my dad was fond of saying eet smakelijk!! I hope I spelled it correctly. lol.
Oh this brought back memories! My daughter went to Sweden for a school year when she was 17 Learnt Swedish & lived the culture The family she stayed with are wonderful & they are still in touch I went over fir a week before she came home & she took me to a cafe for coffee & cinnamon buns Delicious! I loved where my daughter was staying The house were all different bright colours so even a cloudy days the place looked cheery! I’m going to show this video to my daughter so she can make these! My hands are not up to all that kneading Thank you for the happy memory!
Oh that's lovely Patricia! Yes those houses are fantastic, I really love that - and with the cold northern winters it's definitely a good thing to cheer you up! The recipe is lovely I think, I'm really glad to have found it and I hope your daughter will make some! :)
Oh yum, Jacob, it is so good to see someone cooking with their sleeves rolled up, so many shows have cuffs dangling in the ingredients. Thank you for the recipe .🥮
Jacob, although I am most in awe of your design work, the countdown videos are a wonderful gift to us as well! Thank you for the obviously great amount of work you've put into them!
It's a really nice recipe Deborah - it's a bit of work and you really need to knead for quite a while, but besides that it's not a super hard recipe. And they are very yummy! :)
@@deborahbrandenburger7240 Yea - I tried that the first time and found it too faffy. So I do this method that I saw somewhere else - but you can try whichever way works best for you! :)
🤤🤤🤤I'm going to give these a try Jacob! But I will use modern technology (stand mixer) to help with the kneading. I couldn't knead by hand that long. I'll report back if I get the task completed!
Haha! The twisting gets easier when you do it more often. On my first try I was kinda murdering them. Then again, it's not science, so roughly rolling them up will do the trick! :D
Haha you can pretty much straight swap the vegan milk and butter for the heathen variety :P. It's a great recipe and they are just so super tasty. Gosh I miss Iceland - it's been so long ago since I was there last...!
Hey Jacob as I was born i Sweden and my mom baked kanelbullar all her life we always put the cardemom inside the doe it gives the doe the taste you don't get anywhere else think you should try it out once and see. And then there is also Lucebullar they are a specality especially here in December. Grettings from Denmark/Sweden
Hej hei! Oh that's a lovely idea, I'm going to try that next time I make them. Thanks for that! I did bake lucebullar a few days ago as a trial for Lucia - but as I mentioned here, I had run out of the proper flour so they didn't rise properly. Still, the flavour was good. I love the taste of saffron :D.
So, I have a question totally unrelated to cooking, lol, I want to do the x stitch project but my eyes won't allow me to do linen, etc, how big would I need Aida in 14 ct or 16 CT to accomplish. Ty in advance, I do enjoy your channel!!
Hi Roxanne! Your welcome booklet has all the information with the size of the linens and aida in both inches and cm. For 14 count it's 9 ¾" by 8 ⅛" (or about 25 x 20.5 cm) and 16-count is 8 ⅝ by 7 ⅛" (or 21.7 x 17.9cm).
Jacob, they look absolutely delicious 😋 Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Carol - glad you enjoyed it! :)
Yum. And such fun to watch you work the dough! It's been a long time since I made bread...might be time to try this. Thank you again, Jacob!
It's really good fun to make - especially when you thing that the dough is a disaster and then suddenly that moment hits where the gluten do their work and it becomes this beautiful dough! It's very satisfying :D

It's a really lovely recipe and I like the site how it explains stuff. Definitely going to make them many times! :)
Looks so good …I was certainly craving cinnamon rolls after watching this first thing this am 😁
They are super tasty! It's a good recipe and if you have the right ingredients and stick to the recipe you can't really go wrong I think! :)
Jacob, those look wonderful! I'm not much of a baker but may have to try these! Look forward to your treat for us tomorrow.

It looks wonderful. I noticed in the video they cut strips narrower and twisted them together. I wonder which option is "easier"?

Yum, thank you
Enjoy! I promise you they won't last very long! :D

Thank you - they are so tasty and a lot of fun to make! :D
Looks yummy!
They were very tasty - it's nice when you find a good recipe! :D
Your kitchen is so clean.
Also, nice buns.
All I can say is strategic camera placement. Even on the buns front.
@ it’s all about the angles
They look so good. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Thank you Helen - luckily they came out good and the didn't last long! :P
Such a lovely calm video to start the day with. Thank you ❤ Hopefully you saved at least one for your husband lol
Thank you! Haha we finished them pretty quickly! :P
🤤🤤🤤I'm going to give these a try Jacob! But I will use modern technology (stand mixer) to help with the kneading. I couldn't knead by hand that long. I'll report back if I get the task completed!
Makes so much sense Stacey - I don't have one but it sounds a lot easier that way...! :D
You made me laugh, so far they are looking really good to me, right now you are in the twisting part
Haha! The twisting gets easier when you do it more often. On my first try I was kinda murdering them. Then again, it's not science, so roughly rolling them up will do the trick! :D
Yum! Had something similar on Iceland and loved them. Im a heathen, so I'll be looking for a non vegan version. ❤
Haha you can pretty much straight swap the vegan milk and butter for the heathen variety :P. It's a great recipe and they are just so super tasty. Gosh I miss Iceland - it's been so long ago since I was there last...!
Hallo Jacob. Wat Lekker! Ik heb ze ook gegeten in Stockholm. Wij hebben in de eind jaren 80 daar gewoond. Je trui start je erg goed!
