Things you should change up in your tattoo process. -bag your machines and clip cord. -the smock or apron. Is controversial. Some health codes state tattoo artists are supposed to come to work each day in fresh and clean clothing. I’m sure you don’t wash the apron between clients. So we have to assume the apron has blood on it. In my eyes aprons are just dirty looking. -cleaning the skin down and applying stencil without a glove. Seriously, this is tattoo apprenticeship day 1 stuff.
I have gotten both my tattoos from Amanda at downtown tattoo and they both turned out amazing. Highly suggest it if you’re into American traditional tattoos.
awesome videos Eric! I find your channel today and it was really great to see your videos. Downtown tattoo shop is just amazing. I'm an a traditional tattoo apprentice from Argentina so I send love from here, hope you drop new videos some day.
downtown tattoo is my favorite shop in town. i cant wait to get more, ive got some by ryan and some by you. id love to get one done by everyone in that shop, just to have a piece of each one of those talented people.
Gonna be stopping in Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. I actually want to get a tattoo of a penguin with a sombrero and holding maracas with his flippers. Planning on hitting this shop, who do you think would like to do that piece at that shop? I normally go for realism but my entire right leg is clean and I really want to start adding some traditional work.
So "if someone can't find the tattoo they want on those walls they shouldn't be getting tattooed". In other words, the tattoo artists aren't good enough to come up with something new, they can only do the same flash over and over. That's terrible.
It was voted “Best Tattoo Shop Ever” by the International Board of Tattoo Shops. Just like any creative endeavor, we can objectively state, one piece of art is the best piece of art ever or one artist is the best artist ever. Thanks for asking in a non condescending way!

Your boy Ryan Phillips never realized how bad he needs a clip cord cover in all the years he's been grinding?
