  • Resin is such a fun substrate to work with, but PLEASE if you are sensitive at all wear protective gear! This resin is zero VOC but some are very sensitive and can have respiratory issues. PLEASE USE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!!
This is a resin beach pour. I used arteza paints, casting craft, alcohol inks, and creative inspirations paint. DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE END OF THE VIDEO FOR HOW I MIXED THE COLORS! KS resin IS MY NEW FAVORITE RESIN. Fluid art comes in many forms and resin art is one of them. The options are endless with resin!
KS resin is a great resin! It is heat resistant up to 475 degrees F, cures in 7 days!!!!! and has a 30-45 min working time. Mixture is 1 to 1. I LOVE this resin and it dries to a glassy clear coat!
    Colors and pigments used:
Prussian blue (arteza), pthalo blue, white (golden for the first part and casting craft/white alcohol ink for the second part), aqua (home made), paynes grey, sand was caramel

Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!
I am so happy that I found acrylic pouring/fluid art a few years ago. It has helped me in so many ways and it just keeps getting better and better. This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy. I am loving this abstract art! I hope to keep doing this for years to come! I have always been fascinated by modern and contemporary art. There is something about it that is so freeing and expressive. I love acrylic pouring because I get to experiment and really join the creative side of my brain with the scientific part! There are so many different fluid acrylic pouring techniques out there, so much more to try and have fun with. Make sure you are subscribed to my channel so that you may learn and be creative with me. I love hearing all of your comments. Hi Molly! Very beautiful. I’m a surfer, know how the waves break. You’re very close to how an outside set rolls in, and breaks. Beautiful piece. There are few artists who can emulate the breaks. Thank you for sharing your beautiful artwork. Yes personal protective equipment (PPE) is an excellent recommendation-folks, listen to Molly regarding PPE..even if you do not have any respiratory issues, read the product labels-if they state PPE WEAR it. You can also search under the product name, look for SDS or Label. Read, read, and re-read to make sure you’re using the resin as directed. Well ventilated areas, never next or in the same area as a hot water heater or boiler..this is merely advice! The burden of safety rests on your shoulders. Happy painting! 🤗

Love your work! Unfortunately I am extremely allergic to clear resin, can be a bit of a problem with my job as a modelmaker! It's the new stuff with all the added accelerators and UV inhibitors, makes me blow up like the Stay-Puff marshmallow Man, ha ha ha, not fun at the time. I can do small works but have to be ultra clean and cover up well. So I am envious of your work but grateful of your postings because it just makes me happy to see great work, as for everyone out there thinking of doing it, just go for it, nothing ventured nothing gained. It is always a good feeling to add another skill to you repertoire. Keep up the wonderful work!

Molly-I want to thank you, I had a bad experience with resin. Was totally frustrated, about to give up on the entire fluid art experience. Kept watching you and loving your results so I dove into the KS Resin purchase and.....I LOVE IT! Ive only made some coasters and Christmas ornaments, but its so easy to work with. The bubbles pop easy, easy to mix, doesn't stick to everything and plenty of time to work with! I was very afraid of working with resin again, but now I cant wait to try more projects using resin.

Beautiful! Makes me want to do resin art. I was scared of resin too! I finally broke down and just did clear resin on my coasters as I couldn't find anything else that wasn't yellowing to seal them! Ruined a few sets before I just gave in and resined. It was stressful! Lol! And I found out how dusty my house is! Lol But I think I've got the hang of it now. Think I want to do a few more sessions with clear before risking wasting resin on something like this. It's so expensive!

It def can be, but it is so worth it and its beautiful! Tell me about dust lol. I was a nervous wreck on my first coasters and I had drips everywhere! And I was using not so great resin at the time. Once I actually spent the money on good resin, it opened my eyes! Let me know if you've got any questions! Thanks for watching!

Do you resin your paintings? If so can you do a video.... I’m just learning and would like to try resin over the paintings

Resin scares me. I don't feel comfortable working with it. It is gorgeous!
