I really hope you enjoy the tutorial. These were so much fun to pipe. If anyone is interested in the buttercream frosting recipe I used you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/dPV815p1eAE/видео.html Plus here is the recipe for my vanilla cupcakes too: ruclips.net/video/otifsKKutLw/видео.html
These are beautiful 🌺 I love all of your videos, you explain/show everything so well and it is so easy to follow - thank you. I can't wait to try make these! 😋
Thank you so much for you descriptions and explanations. The walk-throughs and camera work make this so very helpful, as the videos can be watched almost as if you were teaching in a physical class. I'm going to try these for sure. I really appreciate you sharing your talent!
I'm so please you like the video and the way it's filmed. It's great to hear that you can use it, just as you would if it was being taught in person. I really hope you enjoy making them x
By far the best tutorials I have found… ever. Home/hobby for friends/family only I’ve been researching and learning cupcake decorating & in just 2 months I’ve learnt so much. Thank you for your videos they are the best ❤
Thank you so much! Just finished making my first batch and they turned out beautiful! Awesome recommendation to just cut in the shape of the leaf tip into the bag!!! I'd almost say, the green leaves without the tip turned out prettier than with the tip. ❤
I absolutely adore all your tutorials, you are so talented and explain everything so well. I will definitely be giving these a go for the school Xmas fete cake sale... I have a request, please would you kindly consider making a tutorial, explaining how to make a Christmas tree out of cake balls? I really would like to give it a go and have noticed they seem to be on trend but I do not have the confidence or know how. Xx
Amazingly beautiful. I love watching you create and explaining everything as you go. Thanks for that piping bag tip as I still don't have very many tips yet. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking.
Hi Colin, I am so glad you like it. I know that not everyone has all the piping nozzles and sometimes if you just want to try a certain design you might not want to buy them all, so I'm really glad you liked the tips for how to cut your piping bags instead. It works so well and you get such a similar effect.
This cupcakes are beautiful, "Nochebuenas" are originally from Mexico and an interesting fact is that the tiny yellow dots in the center are really the flower....the read leafs are not petals, they turn red as the plant grows in darknes during winter, and they look like a flower
Thank you so much Axella, this is so generous of you and you have made my day 🥰. I am just so pleased you enjoyed the tutorial and I hope you enjoy making some poinsettia cupcakes this Christmas x
This might sound like a daft question but you know how you said the colour can develop after a few hours or overnight, I’m assuming if you go ahead and pipe then the colour can still change/develop... I’m totally loving your videos. Karen from Teesside UK
Liz, how would I make these to freeze and pop on a cake, would they hold up on the side of a cake? The nail will be too small of a flower. I LOVE your Video's and how detailed you are in teaching
Hi Mitzie, These would look so pretty on the side of a cake. You can get large flower nails or what you could do is fold over some tin foil (aluminium foil) and stick this to the top of the flower nail to give you a more solid base to pipe it onto. Alternatively if you lay some parchment paper onto your work surface you can just turn the paper and pipe the flower without the nail. I really hope those options make sense.
I'm so glad you like them. For the red I used the Sugarflair red extra. It's really concentrated so you only need a small amount to get quite a deep red. I used the green extra for the darker green too. This again is really concentrated so you only need a small amount. You can also leave the buttercream for a few hours or overnight which will help the colour develop more.

Does your buttercream crust?
Would you say that you can also use it to decorate sugar cookies?
Hi how do you get that red icing ? These are amazing
