How far ahead can I put these on the cake? I'm making & frosting a cake today & will make the meringue too. Can I put them on the cake today (friday) ready for Monday? Great video too.
Needs to be either wrapped in cellophane bags or in Tupperware, the key is that they are airtight. If not they’ll go a bit sticky but you can always pop them back in the oven if so for around ten mins. They’ll last like 2-3 weeks! :)
Thank you soo much it was very useful. Can you do a video about using different type of gel colorings with this. I have came across some colour burns after it's done. It don't have a nice good colour before baking.
I'm so glad. Meringues are so much fun to make, definitely give them a try. In regards to my royal icing I always use Royal Icing sugar which I buy from the supermarket. You then just add water. For the thin drip on this cake I just added more water, so it wasn't as thick.

I made these meringue kisses using your recipe, it came out nice for a first ever try.But after it has cool down in the oven with the oven door slightly opened.I brought them out few hours later I discovered that it was sticky when touched and it sticks to each other.want to ask if it's normally so or I did something wrong? What if want much fewer meringue kisses? Like about 20? Cause I'm not thinking I can make a full recipe and save the ones I don't want for later. They'll get sticky, right?

And the meringue cookies which i made loosen up its shape while placing in oven. Can u plz tell y it happened so? Does it happen bcoz of excess or less sugar. Plzzzz tell. Thanks! P.S.- I had used two egg whites and double the normal sugar in powder form. And some vanilla essence.
Hello once more am happy for all the updates you have been doing and all the video on RUclips. Each time I try the meringue cookies it got burn in the oven. This time around i reduced the oven to the lowest heat yet it still get burn. Those that started to get burn the colour changes too. And I have a buttercream cake that I have to do. The customer is paying me well and the cake is this particular cake of yours . Am getting worried . I have this common oven used by many Nigerian bakers

Hi Debbie, if you wanted to make the rosettes into lollipops you would add the sticks after they have been baked. You could use some chocolate or candy melts to attach the sticks to the back. I hope this helps.
