- The Hunter F.58 in the German tree is probably the most fun plane of the patch, purely because it's a bit too low in BR. It should probably be 9.7 or 10.0, but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

honestly as a Swedish air player I'm a little offended this Hunter is the same BR as the J34. Having better performance, better missiles, FLARES, fuel tanks (to fix the min/max fuel issue the hunters have) and better air to ground ordnance is apparently not enough to warrant one being lower.
Hopefully they adjust that

Swiss hunter has the best engine and missiles along with CMs. Hunter F6 has less engine power then the FGA9 and Swiss hunter.
And now it is 9.7

Very good in air RB, it struggles in ground rbainly bc of the IR SAMs, aside from that the agms are quite good but the rockets arent amazing, quite nise when assuming a fighter role in ground RB.
Personally I like the big maps with the early super sonics. It's nice to actually be able to use their speed and climb rate. The F-100 is actually pretty fun when you have the map space to get speed and altitude to actually be able to fly it instead of probably getting stuck at slow speed down low and slammed by R-60M's or something else.
I don't get why the American f104s don't have flares, or better missiles. its unfortunate because its my favorite plane

I hope that with this Hunter getting external fuel tanks, more planes will get them as well. Also, since this thing gets Aim-9P-3s at 9.3, I hope other planes near or above its br get better missiles as well. T-2 with Aim-9P-4s and F-1 with 9Ls when.
I don't think the T-2 and F-1 should get all aspects at their current BRs, but if they went up I'd be fine with it. I don't want more 9L slingers at 10.3
@@GeneralLee2000 what a bad predicament they’re in then. Well, I just hope that they at least get their countermeasure pods. I tried flying the F-1 earlier and got consecutive uptiers where I had to face the F-4S with Aim-7Fs, the Mirage 2000 and those terrifying Matra Magics, and the Mig-23MLD and MLA without any way to defend.
@@derritter3873 unfortunately that countermeasure pod only used chaff AFAIK, so it'll be in a similar state as the F-105... still would help with radar missiles at least

"too low BR" very first part of the video is you struggling against an SU-25... yeah.. way too low... not.. This thing is garbage. It is too slow, and turns way too slow, the missiles are also the absolute worst. It needs to be one notch lower, not any higher.
"Struggling" if you mean missing a shot because I'm compressing a bit since I'm in a dive then sure. This thing got moved to 9.7 for a reason buddy. It's a good energy fighter with flares and it gets 2 AIM-9J... the hunter FGA.9 is at 9.3 with the same flight model, no flares and only AIM-9E. When I made this video it was 9.3, it's 9.7 now and is fairly balanced there.
