Nice one Ron! 🎉 RE: the seatbelts. The owner can send them to a company like airbagteam who can replace the webbing for whatever colour he wants on those stock belts. It’s a lot easier and safer.
They're not too bad, espically with the adjustable electric bases down. Caddy cabs are pretty small anyway so I was a bit worried too, but all turned our ok 😁 thanks for watching
Awesome work Ron.. was wondering if I could come up from Chelmsford tomorrow morning for a chat. I've some things sorting on my mk1 golf? I've been let down by 2 other companies local ish to me and I'm really hoping you can help 🙏🏻
I'm working elsewhere this week but you can speak to the boss Lee about what you might need if you get in touch with Autoshack. I'll be back next week. Thanks for watching 😁
Very impressive, only gripe is u didnt paint the inside before interior fitment but i believe u already addressed this. Just hope when completed it isnt hidden away im a garage out of sight and we can see this pop up at shows. Me mate lives in north walsham and always moans theres little in the car scene down that way so some open days/ cars+coffee would be much welcomed.
No the owner fully intends to use this all the time, which is why we've gone the extra steps for some of the things to make it drive and ride as nice as possible 😁

Yeah he's found a proper place to do the belts, thanks for watching 😁
Running a few of my billet interior parts 👌🏼 wing mirror adjusters, window winders and lever kit
Nice! Whats your link and I'll put it in the description 👍
What a beautiful caddy! Well done, Sir Ron! I wouldn't paint it if it were mine. The patina makes it look like a modified workhorse
@@bugzy1421 I do like the patina, it's so genuine on this! Maybe the owner will change his mine too 😁 thanks for watching
Nice .. Ron
The caddy master.
Thanks for watching 😁
That looks great! My only problem is how high those seats sit! Factory barely has enough headroom for someone average sized.

What are you going to do with the outside of the car? Spray it completely or not because there are still some rust spots visible in some places.
Yes it will be having a full restoration and respray once the mechanicals are done. The underside restoration is already complete
Those rack boots are no longer obsolete, heritage sell them for RHD now for £30
Thankfully Gone are the days are people asking £100 for them 😂
Yes that one is indeed from Heritage, its the heat cover that is made by a company called 'obsolete' 😁
:D Screwkey made me laugh!
It turned out so well 😁
is this car getting resprayed?

@@SuperRon nice, thought it was going to be a bit of a sleeper look at first. Good to know it’s gonna look as good as the underside
