I remember wanting to see this soo frickin bad, but was not able to catch it before it was gone from theaters. I actually didn't get to see it until 7 years later. I love this movie, & it was as good if not better than I was expecting!
Second Sight rules, and so does You’re Next. Just ordered a buncha stuff from them. Adam Winegard is great (besides Deathnote), and so is the screenplay writer Simon Barrett.
@@cameronscott7304 I think Death Note would have been fine if it wasn’t based on a beloved anime ya know? Then again..people are always very very critical of live action anime adaptations.
I'll be honest - I probably haven't watched/ don't watch near enough films. Though I know about a lot more than I've watched, heh. Anyway, to your question about Adam Wingard films, I realized I may have only seen one (though I'm not sure), and it might be his first - Pop Skull (2007). I enjoyed it, and it was kinda weirdly resonant for me, as it sort of fit with my mindstate/ what I was going through at the time (maybe 2013?? Not sure). Tbh, I don't remember some/ a lot of it, but I do remember liking it. The fact it was made for $2000 is impressive. At the risk of making this longer for a silly reason, I discovered/ re-discovered something interesting. One of the multiple ways it fit for me is that the girl the protagonist was trying to get over (or w/e) was a redhead. Googling the film just now, the cast list came up, and apparently that character's (first) name (his ex) was the same as the girl I was hung up on! Haha, just funny coincidences.
@@cameronscott7304 Confirmed for available on Diabolik DVD. Reputable place to buy from. It’s out of stock but can still add to cart since they said they’re getting more!
Hey so I ordered from Diabolik! It says "Out of stock" on their site, can still add to cart, but I just got a shipping notification for it! It says they’re gonna get more in, but I think they’re already in.
I got this Second Sight release and just watched the movie for the first time tonight. I had heard plenty of great things about it, but sadly I have to say I hated this movie. I don’t think there was a single frame of this movie that I didn’t dislike. Terrible acting, terrible cinematography, terrible writing, a dull and lifeless story and none of the kills had any impact whatsoever.
Not my film, but looks like another stellar release from Second Sight!
Love the beginning when they play a dwight twilley song called looking for the magic RIP DWIGHT

Beautiful looking release! My favorite Adam Wingard movie is The Guest.
Mine too! I love The Guest!!!

I'm in that rare camp who enjoyed Death Note for what it was.
I wish we had gotten a sequel to You're Next.

Your Are Next is a lot of fun. I saw this movie in a theater back in the days.
Received my copy a few days ago, love this movie. The packaging is fantastic.
I love this movie I gotta grab this
Didn’t even know this was getting a 4k underrated movie of the 2010’s
And a very good 4K at that!

I haven't seen Pop Skull. I'm going to track it down. Thanks for watching!

Underrated movie , was surprised it was any good

You have a bruise on your forehead. Did Bubba attack you? 😆
Funny story about that go watch his Crow review 😂
A tree attacked me. Check out my review of The Crow for the full story.
I thought it was a great movie, just can't believe it's so old now , it did have a lot of satisfying endings for them
I know! It seems like it was only released a few years ago, not over a decade ago.
Nooooo! It's out of stock!
@@cameronscott7304 check some other sites like Diabolik DVD! Says out of stock on the site but that they’re getting more in soon
I just checked Diabolik and it's available there.

I really wanted to like this movie, but I did not. It was a one-time watch.
That's a lot to put into a nothing kind of movie...
