I’m not sure whether this is a problem on my end, but this super helpful video cuts off for me at 16:40 or so. I’ll come back later today to see what happens if I reload.
Thanks for these videos. I'm trying to figure out all of this TDCO method and your videos are great. I wanted to ask. For a pattern such as the Mitchell Trousers that don't really have a waistband but a facing. Do I use the facing as my "waistband" and go from there? Would love if you did a video on a pattern like the Mitchell Trousers. Thanks again!
Thank you so much! You can use the facing as your "waistband"... but if you're using velcro, put it at the top 1/2" edge... where the waistline will sew to it (vs. the bottom edge where it would sew on to a waistband). If you'd like tips for working with the Mitchell Trousers, check out Sew Sew Live, Saremy does wonderful sew alongs using other designers patterns. (I'm busy designing my own patterns to work with, stay tuned about that!) ruclips.net/video/fh6z_fn55aM/видео.html
Thanks! ...and that's actually my Raglan Sleeve Top. The front/back are cut on the bias and the kangaroo pocket was cut on the straight of grain! Here's a link to the pattern. jsterndesigns.com/product/easy-fit-and-sew-raglan-sleeve-top/

Did the video get cut off? It only goes to 16:40 and it looks like there should be a few minutes more from the time stamps.
