  • In this video we'll discuss why it is harder to grow longer hair than it is shorter hair. These are all based on my previous experience with growth so it's more of a rant then actual facts but nevertheless I reckon there's some truth to some of the point i've made!

I wash three times a week now for moisture sake and keep it simple and protected with two braids or twists. I only "do" my hair on special occasions.
Influencers will have you out here doing the most to natural hair. My hair is too fine. It wasn't built for heavy manipulation, especially in this fragile transitioning state. But I'm finally about an inch from waist length and couldn't be happier

yes mine also doesn't do well with heavy manipulation. I think twists work best for me and also pre pooing i've realised is a game changer.

I think it's true but it only applies to fine, damage-prone hair ? my hair is wavy, fine and frizzy and even by caring for it, it's starts to thin out once it reaches boob-length. I noticed my mom's hair which is thick and coarse grows like weed even if it's bleached. Maybe she also has breakage and thinning but since it's thick and coarse it doesn't affect the appearance overall? Needless to say I'm jealous of people with thicker hair and always frustrated with mine 😔

Yes mine is fine 🥲 its a struggle to grow past bra strap and dye completely ruined mine last time . (But i did go light).

Hey depends how long you can until they get messy tbh. As long as you are moisturising them well i dont see why you cant wear them for 4 weeks at least
