Highland's downside (I'm sure it has already been said) is the movement penalty.
Yes, you do lose stacks when you move, but they do recover fairly quickly
I highly doubt they nerf this, you have to stand still to get the bonus. Most content you have to move around, especially for pugs.
It kind of reminds me of the set mantle of siroria which was a go to set for years

They nerfed this already in week 2 we’ll see if they revert it or make further change by live
Nah, most content you stack and burn, which is why siroria was meta for years. The reason people run around like chickens with their head cut off is because they have no idea what they're doing.

Thank you for the video. If skills need refreshing at the same time do you hit them one after the other or are you HA between them? I’m not getting above 88k might be for you fixed wireless and lag but it might be I’m not skill refreshing correctly.
You welcome , u should be able to parse over 100k when rotation is perfect , I hold heavy attack the whole parse and it’s usually one heavy attack between skills sometimes u can hit an extra if ur waiting for skill cooldowns , also during heavy attack hit skill button as this will queue the skill once heavy attack completed

You could have parsed a little higher if you always ensured your Daedric Prey was on target before calling down the Atro. The initial land of the Atrois boosted by Daedric Prey.
Yeah that’s very true I could of done a cleaner parse prob had the potential to hit 110k but this has been nerfed since prob around 104k
heya... I love this build, but I keep getting killed in trials and dungeons without a heal. can you recommend an alternative morph or a heal to add to the skills instead in those tougher fights?
I would use the twilight matriarch for burst heal

heavy attacks have been growing on me. runing grave inevitability with sergeant one bar 100% minor and majr force,aegis empower on a mag sorc sheeeesh im melting end game content now. gotta try that senchel guard set sounds real interesting

I think we need to choose spell which don't need to be close range (like barbed trap)
So, we don't need to move and just keep distance if needed ( like combat turret) 🤣🤣
U need to be close for warden, cause the wind make good damage and need to be close

hi man i`m new to the game and figured i would try this build out what i dont understand is how are you getting both your set bonuses? you have 11 item slots 7 body 3 jewlery 1 weapon..how do have 2x5 set bonus thats 10slots...oakensoul is 1 more slimcraw is 1 more thats 12? sorry i am new
That’s okay mate the weapon if it a staff or 2handed will count as two pieces which might be were the confusion comes from

You don’t have to swap out this set if you are mindful of how much you move if you don’t move that much you can keep this on as the stacks to pick up very quickly but if you’re in a super mobile fight such as an arena then I would recommend to swap out for deadly

I just did 81.6k DPS and literally didn't use any skill other than the heavy attack and ultimate, lol. I just wanted to know what my baseline was. This is great!

I've seen people running this build as magicka not stamina, I'm kinda confused as to what the difference is?
If u run stam u can use the bound armaments spammable whereas the mag version is just a buff , stam version is both and hits hard
Why poison enchant? in every single parse I run, flame enchant does more dmg. Wondering what I'm missing.

As far as I’m aware the the choice of enchant whether it be flame or poison should be the same but not 100 percent sure as they have changed status effects
greetings, i dont understand how you can equip 2, 5 Peace of Set-Bonuses 1 Slimecraw and Oakensoul Ring? Im Struggling to Understand how this Works Cause when i equip slimecraw there miss on my other 2 Sets the 5 peace Bonus... pls help
There are 11 slots in total seven for the body pieces and three for the jewellery pieces and one slot for the weapon if you run a two-handed weapon such as a Bow staff or a great sword, this will count as two pieces
If it's this good on HA builds, parses on LA builds gonna be insane and probably be nerfed as a result

Would you say this is easy to hit high dps?
Ive just returned to the game after anout 2-3 years and alot of my muscle memory is gone im having trouble hitting the 90-110k parse with light attack weaving
With these sort of setups it’s usually relatively easy to get into the 90k dps threshold with a solid rotation, easy on the hands
@@projectjtl I'm only able to get into 80k....hmm wonder what I'm doing wrong. A couple of my skills aren't fully leveled does that make that much of a difference?

@@projectjtl my heavy attacks are only hitting for 65-90k yours are hitting for 74-100+k I think thats the issue but idk how you are getting such higher heavy than me...am I missing something

Damage scales of whichever is the highest stat when they hybridised damage scaling so it doesn’t matter if it’s stam or mag

Yeah there might be a slight loss if ur using a max stam skill but won’t be that much
i’m on console. no matter what i try, can’t get above 77k with any of these magsorc oakensoul builds. i don’t understand what i’m doing wrong. 😢

I think this set is designed for a heavy attack build. A teleport ability, does that mean strek wouldn't remove it?

The problem is a build is a build it can't threaten another, not everybody gets the same result.

I never feel like a parse is the best way to test dps unless ur running a stiff boring trial group set up
agreed. that sentinel set won't be good if your running a dungeon.

@@bronysaiyan5236 it reminds me me of mantle of siroria which was used for stationary fights mostly for high burn through mechanics in dungeons and vrg and sunspire
@@projectjtl sort of at least with siroria you could still move around within the circle when it drops. this is set has a restriction of not moving at all or you lose damage.
@@WolfSkorpius yeah the restriction is a bit much but it doesn’t drop off completely. The stacks will just fall off but will be reapplied when you instantly stop moving.

That craftable set is def good for just parsing, I personally wouldn’t run it in a trial due to the fact you lose half a stack if you move and in most content you’ll be moving. I’ll stick to storm master and sergeants

Is it good in dungeons ? Since you have to stand still?
Some boss fights are stationary particularly trials and the stacks only fully drop off when you are killed or out of combat so moving will only reduce stacks slightly and with reapply stacks once stopped
What is the difference if the skills are mag instead of Stam?
We are using bound armaments which boosts ur max stam so it makes sense to put all into stam
Finally going run mag tho with crystal weapon instead if i hit over 95k like before they were nerfed im happy. Will test both mag n stam tho.

I would assume so since it has higher single target damage.
I used to use the other morph, but I thought with the concussion status effect it might be better. We have to test the other one also.
@@projectjtl I think parse dummy's already have the concussion status effect. Besides, lightning damage procs it constantly with cp points.

This set up does not hit that hard on console.
It has been slightly nerfed but should still pull over 100k
Looks like a incredibly boring dummy humping build. Big numbers on a dummy that stands still but how about solo content or trials. I kind hate practice dummies for that reason, they are great for learning rotations but always reflect poorly on how they actually perform when you gotta move and avoid attacks
I have made a separate video showing u can move and still barely loose any dps , as long as ur not moving every second like in an arena

@@shayed_6668a lot has to do with strategy. It's not always about best builds or metas. I just got around 700 CP and started playing PVP this wk and i just roll around as support with my sorc. I'll get kills here and there but my main goal is staying alive. Ur more valuable alive then dead lol. But I'm currently leveling a NBA khajiit for PVP now. Argonians is good for sustain but I usually play aggressive and don't think my argo sorc can do it for my play style 😂😂

@@rubentorres9064 I guess those buffs are still pretty op. But since u35, empower is no longer working against players, so you drop quite some dps by heavy attacks.
For the memez, sure. But for any kind of serious group content, this is bad. And look at how much you had to crit farm just to get one parse at 106. Your results show 103, 100, 106. That’s a 6k variance in just 3 parses. Which means that it’s really only hitting an average of 103k. And it could swing by 6k depending on crit rng? Sheesh. Really weak. Literally every class out there is hitting 120-140k, so why would you want to use this? For giggles, sure. But for real? Nah. Hard pass.

It’s very similar to mantle of siroria so we can definitely be used in stationary fights similar to that set, granted is a bit situational and obviously not for every boss fight , also the 106 parse was first time the others were different sets and mundus so was definitely not Rng It seems very consistent will be doing more passes also. Because you see numbers on the screen doesn’t mean it was the exact same set up I was experimenting , also nearly 107 really weak damn what’s the minimum now to be accepted 😅
@@projectjtl my issue is the low dps max, and with the heavy attack playstyle in general. No light attacks means less ultimate regen, and the build is all single target with very little cleave. Most of the time, if you have a mostly single target dps build, you want it to at least hit really hard to make up for the lack of cleave. Sorc is a good example because even the standard Sorc dps has very little cleave. But a standard single target sorc dps is about 30k higher than what you’re doing with this heavy attack build.
As for what is acceptable, that’s based on your group and what the goal is. Most of the time, in my experience, most prog groups want 120+, and a pov review to make sure you understand mechs.
Now, if you’re doing this build for fun, and don’t care about min / maxing, ok. Or if you’re disabled for whatever reason and can’t do a standard build, ok.
But if you want to do endgame stuff, and be competitive, this build isn’t where it’s at.
@@shayed_6668 I didn’t say anything about any percent of people. My point was that endgame dps hit those numbers on all the classes. Unfortunately endgame is only about 1% of the player base. The other 99% are dolmen and overland node farmers.
@@felixthefearless1886 granted the heavy attack place will never be top tier and I don’t think it’s meant to be it’s designed to bring up average players into a higher tier category to allow them to do more veteran content and less gate keeping, yes, you are correct there is a lack of aoe , and this might not be suitable for that one percent player base , but how many people really out there need score pushing parses?
Also, they’re actually are more stationary fights than I realised :

Vrg has a boss stationary
Sunspire little movement
The three non dlc trials have largely little movement
Also in dungeon scenarios could be tricker more ideal for stack and burn
