Pour yourself a cold one and hit play while we pour ourselves a new ETT! Watch as we get into the flow and find new ways and new materials to build this very different and very awesome Urethane Snowboard. A colorful episode indeed, and without a traditional core in this snowboard this one really sticks out. Boom. Кино
Part of me misses the ridulous snowboards like the glass and survival boards, but part of me likes seeing this awesome innovation that could actually become a reality. Keep it up guys!!
+Kal0ut don't you worry, we have some crazy ones coming this season as well. ;) Thank you!
+SignalSnowboard make a snowboard out of snow
Totally agree, this and the 3D printed board are some of my favourite because it's trying out new techniques to see how it works in creating a board. Of course I don't expect the ETT vids to have the people riding them to say 'This sucks in comparison to a proper board but I guess it's cool' but it's really cool that there's so much positivity.
Worked great on about 6"-8" of average snow starts to struggle a bit past 8". ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN Very light weight and the chute spin control works well. For the low price you get a ton of value. My only complaint is managing the cord as it does take a fair bit of effort to watch and pull the cord out of the way. I found myself having to whip the cord out of the way a lot when I needed to make one way passes to mange the blow direction. It's less of an issue when you can work both directions. A battery powered version would be a lot easier to handle but that is also double the price and requires battery care. I chose the corded version so I didn't have to worry about batteries but I do now see how much work the cord is. I let my neighbor borrow it and it outperformed his smaller gas blower, he was totally sold. Very pleased with the power and operations. My only suggestion is to spend a bit more on a cordless version if you have budget for it. The cord is a bit more of a headache than I thought it would be. Very pleased with the Snow Joe brand and quality.
Now, I don't snowboard, never have, but I loved this. I used to skate, and this is just like back in the day. The excitement of people making new shit, then taking it to the park and just having fun. Awesome.
That was the coolest snowboard skate park thing ever. I have never seen anything like it.
Its so simple but makes so much sense
Normal thing at every Midwest ski area
LOOKS JUST LIKE THE LITTLE RED SLEDS WE USED TRY AND STAND ON!!!
omg thats exactly what i was thinkin
Same thoughts exactly. I love it
Ahhhh!!! It makes me so happy that you were at Hyland! It's been a big part of my life every since I was a kid and it's great to see it get some publicity in the form of a ETT video. I can't think of anything better. You're welcome any time, Signal ;)
thumbs up for shreddin the garbage dump! We don't have mountains in Michigan either so we know about that hill life
These guys have so much passion. I don't snowboard but I want to. If/when I buy my first new board it's definitely coming from these guys.
Yay every third Thursday is back
Absolutely loving the more developed boards that arent just something silly!~
I am so glad the series is back. I was really hoping it would have been here back in winter but still stoked its finally back.
Great spot for snowboarding some very smart and enterprising folks
I'm so glad that this series is back.
Loving the And So I watch You From Afar in the beginning, legit one of the best bands in the world.
YES LADS!! ETT back on that innovation buzz! What a cool board, looks super light and flexi!
Although, the people still wants flame throwers and ninja stars and candy floss machines
Wow the locals rip! Nice riding fellas!
Signal, you guys rock! This is some next level technology. Great vid
OH MY GOD I DIDNT REALIZE ETT WAS BACK!!!!!! WOOHOO
Reminds me of my hill back home, one lift and a tow rope up a very steep garbage dump. The hill was shut down last year, sadly, lots of great times at the dump!
hi just wondering do u guys by chance take suggestions for future videos ? if so i got a couple id like to suggest
1:whats the shortest ridable board u can make ?
2:can u make a board out if solid duct tape ?
3:maybe try making a deck out of only car parts
4:what about a steampunk board
and last but not least
5: what about a pvc snow board ?

So hyped this series is back
Those little kids at the end are dope.
Such an awesome board and such an awesome video! Can't wait for more ETT's!!
OMG the kids were too cool! I melted when the little one couldn't reach the rope!
Hyland MN awesome to see you guys in minnesota
I'm no snowboarder but I really like this series! Kinda missing the old style you guys used to do but I'm liking the new way you guys are creatubg the show (def seeing the diff between the old and new cinematography, editing and as well as story telling). I'm also in awe of the ideas you are coming up with! Keep on rocking!
Sick guys, you make the best boards ever!
my kids learned how to snowboard at that park they showed in start of video :)
Best 12 minuts of my day! I wish you guys made more video's one month!
Always good videos, looking forward to the rest of the season.
these videos get better and better
Yo that hill set up looks dope that rope system is perfect you waste so little time getting back up wish we had a place like that.
You guys are what snowboarding is all about! I love the forward thinking !! I would love to be more involved and try out one of the urethane decks!! Looks like fun!
That park is insane

That guys are bonkers!! Awesome vid.. Even that board is awsesome :D
Awesome crew, they're diehard boarders
so badly want a board like this. signal put it in to production 😂😂
Love ETT!!!!
Gotta love Midwest shredding
ASIWYFA in music are like Signal makin their insane boards!
The one thing i miss about the midwest, lapping the park with a toe rope.
Like the brutal dry dendex slopes we have in some parts of the UK. That place looks great!
Another job well done
love these videos
Wish i could go snowboarding every weekend or everyday or skiing maybe
or every third thursday
Hyland has a great park. Love hot lapping that place.
i wish my snowboarding place had one of those ropes to pull me around
Jackson McKagan where do you live? Tow ropes are mainly only in the Midwest
NotLovedGamer get some Kinco work gloves. they last long, everyone uses those in the midwest
NotLovedGamer also only like 20 bucks
Sam Clausnitzer I found out that the best for me is west Chester tractor supply. It holds up suuuuuper well
Not a single Jerry in this park!! Well done!!
Wow that an insane board
the "its sick" got me good bro
Quality of the board and this episode were both soo good! Keep that shit up!
Same I love it there
i made a mini poly style board like this in my tech class in highschool, damn should have sold the idea haha
Yeaaaaaaaaa hyland is so sickkkk
+Zach Pannkuk Where is Hyland? Looks like a cool spot.
+OrionsBeltsmith bloomington mn same city as the mall of america. also my hometown!
+flecs Minnesota riders for life 👊🏼
Damn i'm stocked for this !
2 little groms were legit!
thank the lord innovation is not dead. Signal is the light in the darkness.
this is dope as hell
Man I miss tow ropes. All the parks in Michigan have them at the little mountains.
Consider this, please; you have this resilient matrix that's flexing against each stringer. It'll cripple a single stringer at some point of over-flex, as the loads are likely not shared (across the width of the board as it twists/bends), BUT, you have the actual structure of each contour to help spread the loading of bending forces. Add carbon fiber, but with it's flex grain set at diagonals to the stringers, and have the layment of that carbon fiber go across (in a diagonal, or radial pattern) at least two channels or core stringers, thus creating a 'web' within the board that now can be 'tuned' to flex and or twist at rates you desire, while spreading the flex-load between spars. You have a potential 'super-board' here.
"PSR"
I would buy one of these if it went into production, seems awesome to ride!!
Love riding Minnesota.
Oh I wish I had this kind of hill near me, the closest one is a ferry ride and 2 hours away, and it’s a fully developed crowded mountain with lifts
Minnesota's dry winters :( I hope this year is better.
This is so sick this is my favorite hill ever
I have been riding it since I was 5
Props to those 2 kids :D
I play disc golf at highland. In bloomington, mn!!
MINNESOTA LOVE!
Would actually buy one of these
I want one. Looks like it could be super cheap and super durable compared to normal boards
Great choice of music with ASIWYFA
love Hyland I think it's one of the best in the twin cites
Yoooooo i go there all the time!!!
I race mountain bike on Buck Hill, It's a really nice, challenging trail!
yay finally
i love my little 300 foot local hill that place is my favorite place to snowboard
Ya I was like no why they would go to hyland
Just went to hyland last week! Littttt
Oh my gosh that's where I rode last year. This year I'm probably going to buck hill tho.
the process for making some archery bows is really similar to making a snowboard (laminating carbon fibre and wood sheets then pressing for flex). Maybe you could try making a board that has a bow in it?
Ya I'm in Manitoba and my parks in a drainage ditch. I'm glad these guys are getting their names out they rip.
ahhhh good old springhill :( :/ XD
Mr Grape Butter hyped for springhill to open?
Mr Grape Butter bro you talking about asessippi?
Ya spring hill man I'm hyped. Heard the fourty foot is only going to be 20 ft this year
we have a 40ft rail?? o_O lol
FINALLY....!
I would love too see you guys make a pair of skis
Multi layer plywood like in skateboarding, would seem like a nice second step to max up the core.
Sweet.
Rope tow parks are the best!
Did anyone notice how fucking fast that rope was going😂
You guys should make a snowboard out of a car door
uncontrollable missile that sounds to be.
BRING THIS BACK
What size board was this? I’m trying to figure out sizing for me to get a smaller board but still work for me being 5’10”
they could change the game with a moulded board make it affordable and allow the sport to grow even futher than it is
