Pour yourself a cold one and hit play while we pour ourselves a new ETT! Watch as we get into the flow and find new ways and new materials to build this very different and very awesome Urethane Snowboard. A colorful episode indeed, and without a traditional core in this snowboard this one really sticks out. Boom.

Part of me misses the ridulous snowboards like the glass and survival boards, but part of me likes seeing this awesome innovation that could actually become a reality. Keep it up guys!!

Totally agree, this and the 3D printed board are some of my favourite because it's trying out new techniques to see how it works in creating a board. Of course I don't expect the ETT vids to have the people riding them to say 'This sucks in comparison to a proper board but I guess it's cool' but it's really cool that there's so much positivity.

Worked great on about 6"-8" of average snow starts to struggle a bit past 8". ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN Very light weight and the chute spin control works well. For the low price you get a ton of value. My only complaint is managing the cord as it does take a fair bit of effort to watch and pull the cord out of the way. I found myself having to whip the cord out of the way a lot when I needed to make one way passes to mange the blow direction. It's less of an issue when you can work both directions. A battery powered version would be a lot easier to handle but that is also double the price and requires battery care. I chose the corded version so I didn't have to worry about batteries but I do now see how much work the cord is. I let my neighbor borrow it and it outperformed his smaller gas blower, he was totally sold. Very pleased with the power and operations. My only suggestion is to spend a bit more on a cordless version if you have budget for it. The cord is a bit more of a headache than I thought it would be. Very pleased with the Snow Joe brand and quality.

Now, I don't snowboard, never have, but I loved this. I used to skate, and this is just like back in the day. The excitement of people making new shit, then taking it to the park and just having fun. Awesome.

Consider this, please; you have this resilient matrix that's flexing against each stringer. It'll cripple a single stringer at some point of over-flex, as the loads are likely not shared (across the width of the board as it twists/bends), BUT, you have the actual structure of each contour to help spread the loading of bending forces. Add carbon fiber, but with it's flex grain set at diagonals to the stringers, and have the layment of that carbon fiber go across (in a diagonal, or radial pattern) at least two channels or core stringers, thus creating a 'web' within the board that now can be 'tuned' to flex and or twist at rates you desire, while spreading the flex-load between spars. You have a potential 'super-board' here.
