    That’s the Cromford canal at side of the boat inn which comes into Pinxton wharf basin.
    The fair ground at Selston is where the fair ground people live and store the vehicles & rides.
    When you got to the sewage works, you can walk all the way to Pye bridge.
    The little tower you could see left from brookhill pit I believe was part of the pit canteen.
    It was the river Erewash on the main road near the cranes and runs right past the boat inn on other side of the road, and on the other side of the Erewash opposite the boat was Pinxton train station.
    When you went over the train lines, if you had walk forward instead of turning onto the pond, the Pinxton china factory was on the left back in the day, but was a scrap yard for years until it shut recently.

    This does actually get to Pinxton until about halfway through!
