- Check out the new cinematic trailer for Grime, an upcoming action-adventure RPG from Clover Bite. Grime encourages you to absorb enemies and use their own abilities against them as you explore your strange surroundings. Use living weapons that can mutate mid-fight, and upgrade your skills to suit your playstyle. Prepare to take on creatures much larger than yourself in Grime’s challenging boss fights.
Grime will be released on August 2, 2021 on PC and Stadia. You can play the demo now.

Love how the protagonist can move at superhuman speeds by displacing his singularity head, which moves his body faster than normal by attracting it. Wonder if the powers you can accumulate will be a permanent addition to your arsenal, or if you'll be forced to constantly scavenge for new abilities to stay one step ahead of the nightmares hunting you.

@@evolicious combat is deliberate, can't just button mash. Items have world building descriptions but aren't immediately apparent so you'll have to piece the story together yourself. It's 2D. There are branching paths you can't take from the start.

It’s a badass metroidvania. Been waiting on this one for a minute. Demo was a blast. There are gameplay trailers out too for those complaining about this cinematic one. If you’re into the 2/2.5d mv games then you’re gonna love this one. If you’re not a fan of 2d then probably not.

I've watched gameplay trailer earlier and this is pretty fantastic from artistic perspective.
Hope this succeeds and make perhaps something in 3D in the likes of Mortal Shell
