Hello everyone I hope you’re enjoying the video. Please let me know which tool you would like me to explain in a next Tip&Trick video. Thank you for your feedback.
Hello Felix, I would like to know tips and tricks on the awl. I have a Victorinox Farmer Alox and I believe that the awl is one of the most important tools in a SAK. Thanks so much as usual. Cheers from Mauritius
@@FelixImmler SURVIVAL gear ⚠️ ALERT tip: All of the LED flashlights will be fried, destroyed when an EMP hits them 🔦 You should ALWAYS carry an incandescent type of flashlight as a backup to your LED flashlights and carry a mechanical wrist-watch as a backup to your digital watch ! *Please also research which two-way communication handheld radios cannot be destroyed by an EMP.
Thanks to you, I have purchased (and just received) my first Victorinox multi-tool knife. I appreciate having found your channel, and the excellent content you provide.
One thing I use the corkscrew for is as a hand-guard for using the main blade. By opening it, it can keep your hand from sliding forward onto the blade as it catches between your thumb and index finger. Give it a try!
Another use for the corkscrew is picking out a backlash from a baitcast fishing reel. It’s perfect for this, being polished and not super sharp on the tip. It doesn’t damage the line, and can really get in there to lift up those loops.
Karl Elsener: "Felix we added an hook to our knife, to transport heavy wood log!" Felix Immler :Wow! Very cool!" Then Karl Elsener go away. Felix Immler to himself:
I've had a Victorinox "Officier Suisse" for many decades, without ever putting it to use, and I was not a fan of the "MacGuyver" TV series where he relied upon his Swiss Army Knife. However, at the ripe age of 77 (Imperial, not Metric), I've become more involved in learning about bushcrafting, and just recently, I've added my SAK to my keychain loop. Now I found YOU, explaining all the virtues of the knife, in so many ingenius/creative ways - so THANK YOU!
Thank you felix for these wonderful videos. I just got a Victorinox Spartan and I'm amazed at the things I learned I could do with it from here. Cheers mate.
Hammer! Freu mich schon auf Bushcraft Rock 2019 🏴☠️
Hi Felix, You are make the famous Swiss Arm Knife even better by showing all these useful tips, I use my Swiss arm Champ and Works Champ every day so I will use your tips and trick.Thank youIan
Loved the tips Felix! I use the corkscrew to undo tight knots in shoelaces, to remove wall raw plugs out the wall without damaging the plaster and on a Swiss Army knife with the corkscrew and a wood saw I screw the corkscrew into a 25mm dia long stick with the wood saw deployed so I can cut small dia tree branches up high out of reach! Lol 👍
Well, Mr. Immler, I am surprised with the very creative tips you have for the world wide users and customers of Swiss army knifes. The first I watched was on the Hook. You have all necessary tools to become a success in RUclips, especially because of your Sympathy. Even when you shout “Shut up!” to the cows, it’s funny. Your videos are very useful, and bring joy to the viewer. Thank You!
Thank you so much for this tips series! I searched the whole internet for tips for alternative uses of the different sak tools and you still have new ideas that I have never heard of. Please keep on doing this series for all the tools on the swisschamp.
super video again Felix. I'm looking forward to see the next episode. In my area I am probably the biggest Victorinox fan and I love watching every minute of your video,s because it contains Victorinox knives. You are able to show the world that a Victorinox pocketknife like the Huntsman is the best survival knife you can have when used with skill.
Hi Felix, thank you for this great series. My Victorinox Swiss Army Knife is much more versatile than I knew! You have given me new respect for my Victorinox! LG aus Lenzburg, Rob
Erstklassig lieber Felix!
Hallo Sepp mein lieber Freund!
It makes a good knot pick. The end of the corkscrew can hook into rope or cord without cutting it, and then you can pull with the knife body for setting and loosening strands of a knot.
In America, if Elderberry is hard to find in your neighborhood, Staghorn Sumac also has hollow stems. If you peel away the fuzzy bark the wood is white and has a pretty texture.
Hi Felix! Wonderful video that I missed until today. You warned of bending the Vic corkscrew at its base with too much weight. Have you ever done a video about straightening such a bent Vic corkscrew? vielen Dank! Richard
Hi, my friend, I'm a new member of the channel, I'm from Brazil. Congratulations on the channel, there are many good videos. I'm loving this series of videos of Victorinox uses that I have too. Hug!
Thanks for another great video. The tips are useful and fun to learn. For your next trick I would like to see which tool would fix your boot instead of Vanessa’s tape 😄. Maybe some more tips/tricks with the awl.

You know, I haven't seen the corkscrew used to untie knots! I would've loved to see it!
It makes a good knot pick. The end of the corkscrew can hook into rope or cord without cutting it, and then you can pull with the knife body for setting and loosening strands of a knot.
