I just love the reamer. I think it’s one of the best tools on the SAK. Teaching my boys pocket knife lessons, I would teach the reamer was the “tip saver”. This is because you use the reamer to “dig” and drill, not the tip of your blade. One of the big four original tools. Great video!
You’ve done it again, Felix. You’ve shared new skills with the world. Really, though, there’s not much a person can’t do with a Swiss Army knife and a good brain. Thanks for sharing.
Felix, As I love my Swiss Army knife , I have thoroughly enjoyed all your Swiss Army how to do videos. I especially like your accent too! Thanks for sharing
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Colin Bruce thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Felix, I hope you get paid by Victorinox. Your videos are better than any advert they have. Practical, educational and passionate. PS we also appreciate the change of camera angles to help us see the details.
The obvious good humour of this gentleman is contageous . Now I cannot help smiling when I handle my SAK, and yes, I learn something New and Useful every time! Please, carry on,sir.
Danke!
I've never never realised that my V knife could be utilised for so many things! The best of luck to you ! ! And thank you for the entertaining way you present things !
I've been to Zurich, Basel and Geneve... but I bought my very first Swiss Army knife only in the USA after I watched these videos... Love my knife, thank you for all of your tips!
Thanks. A couple of those tips taught me a much better way do tasks that I have done in other not as efficient ways. Your SAK videos are informative and fun to watch and try !
Hi Felix.....I use the awl/reamer as a nail file. The 45 degree blade edge is great for filing down your nails after the scissors. I get a nice finish. Sorry for using English today as I’m in a rush. Schöenes Wochenende! Nigel aus Großbritannien.
Woah, ... Amazing! I think you're a wonderful person: your way to approach the little problems of the life Is very natural, easyfeeling, realistic and workable. Great! Thanks...
Danke Dir. Mach weiter so! Gruß Eric.
Tolle Videos zum Victorinox. Vielen Dank. Habe mir Mal wieder eins als EDC bestellt. Die Feuer-Aus Technik ist Hardcore... Bämmmm... Hand drauf....aus. 😂👍
😂I really like how as you demonstrate the fire starting after you get the flame you just slap it out as if swatting a fly. Not sure why but its funny. Thankyou for the tips
Man, I always hesitated to use Vic saw with fire steel because the saw is not lockable, like on some other tools. Now I realised that it's not the saw I should move - just set the saw blade still and push it against a piece of wood or anything solid and move the fire steel against it - the saw won't close that way and you don't even need to hold it! Thanks for this beautiful idea 💡 🙏
Hi Felix Excellent as always! I normaly use the small knife to clean the rims of a hole. But the reamer is a good idea.
And I very much like to hear you say " Tips and trickseries". Very nice. It is almost impossible but have you ever thought of creating your personal bushcraft swiss army knife? Years ago I took apart an old swiss champ, replaced the small knife for a reamer from an alox knife and build it back together to make a Huntsman with extra magnifying glass and screwdriver. I do not care to much for the screwdriver but with the magnifiyng glass you can make fire.
Yes, taht would be a dream. You have to tell that Victorinox...if you want... www.victorinox.com/ch/en/Victorinox/Contact/My-Victorinox-Product-Idea/cms/my-victorinox-product-idea
Dude the reamer shaving/fire method looks better than the back of the saw method!!! Can't wait to try that tomorrow.... Or tonight if I can't sleep ha ha.
Vielen Dank lieber Ralf.

The jet plane sound is amazing. Just like in the deep wilderness. ;-) Great video as always.

I found out on my own that I could use the reamer to strike the rod but I never thought to use it to shave those fine fatwood shavings! So effective!
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
