One day, Felix will show us how to build a Swiss Ski chalet with a Swiss knife… amazing video.. I have a Swiss knife and a jigsaw blade.. cannot wait to try it out..🙂
Haa ha haa a Ski chalet i haven'r done until now but ski's 😂 ruclips.net/video/R28Q2TpW3L8/видео.html
@@FelixImmler you're a maniac! :)
Never mind that! :)) ...Can you imagine Felix as part the cast of a remake of "Flight of the Pheonix ?" He would make up 2 engines out of 4, fix up the controls, make a compass & get themselves out of there in no time as the flight engineer! ;)))
I have a cheap knife 😂
Maybe i must try and modify my cheap knife and add another saw hehehe.
Your enthusiasm is addictive, you make my weekend.
Thanks for this wonderful compliment!
Thank you Felix and Benjamin for making the Hook Great Again
Thank you for bringing this one to us.
I'll be adding a few jigsaw blades to my wallet. Three in particular:
One, a very aggressive wood saw for making it much easier to keep the integral saw in prime condition. Just as I would in order to save my handaxe for when nothing else would do by breaking a branch between two tree trunks.
Two, a bi-metal blade as I don't have a convenient way to cut metal that I can carry every day.
Three, as you mentioned, a diamond-coated or maybe carbide abrasive blade for very hard materials such as hardened steel or ceramics.
None of these are the "right" tool for the job. But, if carried every day, most of my pockets hold the "Right now!" tools for the job and you just gave me three more for less than the cost of a sandwich, a tiny bit of space and only a few grams of weight.
By the way, my daughter loves your book.
Thanks a lot for your super interesting comment!!
Actually fantastic you can stick any blade on this as long as its for a jigsaw. I really need a Metal saw on my Huntsman.
I am happy you mentioned the inventor of the trick! Thx for sharing this idea!
Thanks a lot for your compliment!!
That is again a pretty cool lifehack. Thanks a lot Felix (and to that German dude) , I‘ll try that with my SAK that dont have a saw. I do have a Parkside saw set but never thought of using them like that. Ein schönes Wochenende wünsche ich. Christian
Nice trick indeed Felix, good thinking of Benjamin
Yes.. that's true!
Your ingenuity with the Swiss Army knife puts the original MacGyver to shame👍
Nicely done Felix!
Thanks Benjamin.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Every Friday I look forwars to your videos. Such practical and cool projects! Thanks Felix!
Your compliment makes me happy!
Nice one Felix!
I've seen this before and it's been going around the various EDC channels lately, but no-one else has gone into such detail, testing and explanation as you. Thanks for another fantastic video!!
i hang alot of drywall and do alot of repairs on houses and this trick has saved my but alot thanks for shareing i really love your books and your videos thank you.
Thank you so much for your interesting feedback!
I've watched so many of your videos on the use of the swiss army knife. This one just might be my favorite. I love your channel. The swiss army knife is an incredible multi tool. I'm glad that a toolbox sized, multi use piece of equipment can fit in my pocket with little to no weight. Outstanding! Everyone should have one at the ready. A 40.00 dollar bill is worth it. Take care.
This is so cool, Felix! Yesterday I watched video's on RUclips where different people complained about this 'useless package carrier hook' and wanted or did replace the hook (for a philips screwdriverbit, also not bad, but...) This solution now with the sawblades and all possibilities! makes it very much worth to keep it on! Thanks, Benjamin und Felix, and greetz from Holland 😊
A very clever idea, and as you say there are many different jigsaw blade types for different materials.
Thank you for showing this.
Thank you very much!!
Finally a use for the parcel hook!
Right...
That's brilliant! Using your ingenious tip, I'll be doing the same this weekend. Felix, you should get an award for all these useful tips and tricks! Have a super weekend! *Hugs* and special thanks also to Benjamin Balke ~ Wendi 🌻
Great tip! 👍🏼 Thanks to Benjamin. It's easy to carry a prepared jigsaw blade in a knife pouch, extending the versatility of a smaller knife, like my Tinker. I do have a saw blade on my Outrider, but I don't always carry that. Incidentally, the best pocket knife sawblade I've used was that on my Mauser, which also had a protective cover.
Great work again, Felix.I have to go back and organize folders for all your tips.
Thanks for your comment!
Well done !
Thanks a lot!
Ingenious! Hats off to Benjamin Balke, and to you, Felix, for passing it on to us! :D
Nice Idear and nice that you Support the Guy who invented the trick ;)
Thank you so much Felix!
Felix is a gift to the world!
Excellent idea! Thanks for sharing it, my friend!
Another great addition to a great tool. Thanks for keeping it fresh an innovative.
Thanks my friend!
Hi Felix 😊 good to see you again, I hope you and your family are doing well. This is a great idea, I didn't think it was possible to adapt a blade like that, full mark's to Benjamin , and your tests prove it works in the woods. Thanks for another interesting video mate, stay safe, best wishe's to you and your's, Stuart UK.
Thank you very much Stuart!!!
It's so nice to see your happy face and your interesting uses of our trusted swiss army knives.thankyou, and stag safe and lucky.maddog west cork.ireland
Thanks a lot Dominic and greetings to Ireland!
Excellent tip! Thank you.
Great explanation and video as usual
Thanks a lot!
Genius! kudos to you and Benjamin.
Thanks a lot Benjamin!
Top notch as always Felix.
Thanks Felix for another great vid. Your ideas are always so clever and creative. Your shrink wrapping and taping the Tshank in particular made the setup so much more secure and workable. You made the original idea even better! I see from your vid you had the smooth end of the saw blade facing the tip of the hook. I think it would work better if we flip it around so the teeth of the saw faces the tip of the hook. With the saw blade sitting on the lower end of the SAK instead on the upper end allows better ground clearance and minimizes the chance of marring the end of the scales when in action.
Thanks a lot for this super interesting feedback!!!!
Your simply awesome. Thank you.
Absolutely brilliant! I can't wait to try this. Thank you for this.
Thanks for your comment!
Simple yet great, as usual with your contents
Amazing tip! This is why I love these Victorinox knifes. Never ending improvements at the tip of the fingers. Thank you!
your a amazing man , the swiss army knife world would be lost with out your knowledge !!!!!!!!!!
You always make my day. Thanks Felix
This is my first time seeing this. What a great idea. Wonderful video! Thank you sir.
Awesome, awesome tip. Well done. Love you manner of presenting. Huge fan
Great tip, many thanks for showing it to us!
Felix sempre trazendo novas ideias e truques... obrigado por compartilhar.
Thanks for watching!!
The king of Victorinox knives
Thank you very much!
Great trick to be shared.
This is a great trick. Love it!
Always a pleasure. I lost too many of my knives from even when I was too young to appreciate them.... I think I am going to pick up spares.
Me too, I've already lost SAK's for half an army in my life 😅
@@FelixImmler Lucky for any one that finds them but miss some of my favorite tool combos that I have not been easy to replace.
@@FelixImmler 😂😜
Coole Idee vom Herr Balke. Eventuell könnte man noch einen kleineren Schlüsselring nehmen, für bessere Klemmwirkung. Danke für das Video. 👍
Felix, you’re awesome. I carry a Bundeswehr pocket knife.
Danke Paul!!
I have the same model of Swiss army knife as this, and I never knew what that hook was for. Thank you Felix
Der König der Improvisation ! ✌

Thank you Felix
Thanks a lot for watching!
Felix....victorinox should pay You for your inventions. Thanx for the trick Man.
Großartig!
Danke fürs teilen!
Vielen Dank lieber Buntbär!!
We love you Felix! You are the best! 💟💟
Dieser Kommentar freut mich speziell! Dankeschön!
Excellent tip. Thnak you Master Felix.
Thanks my friend!
Haha! You are such a positive person. For someone who works in construction, it’s a great tip!
Thank you very much!
Great tip! I found that turning the blade the other way works better for me as you are putting pressure in a downwards direction only, therefore you can make better use of the fulcrum position and you don't have to hold the hook down as hard.
Thanks a lot for this super interesting feedback!
Felix thanks for sharing this tip it’s easy and very helpful
Thanks a lot Gary!!
Many thanks, Felix & BB...a very practical idea to add further flexibility to the SAK...sehr gut!
Danke Edgar!
@@FelixImmler you are most welcome!
As always, brilliant!
Thank you so much!!
Thank´s Immler for a nice video. :)
Bravo! Sehr gute Idee!
Danke für das Lob!
Wieder einmal sehr kreativ! Chapeau!Auch an den guten Benjamin!
Vielen Dank!
Very good trick thank you for sharing this I’ll be adding a few blades to my small pocket kit
Thank you, Felix, for another video that helps us unleash the potential of the Swiss Army Knife even more! And thanks to Benjamin for a great idea! ... Here is the answer for those who argue that the hook on the knife is a relic of the past ... Bravo! I am in awe of this idea!
Hello Arvid. Thank you so much!!
This is indeed great information to know.
The hook is really useful when you have small children that tie the most terrible knots! I've saved many shoelaces with it :D
Thanks Felix all good to know. My Swiss knife never leaves me , great tool it is. Ciaooooo
Awesome video Felix, thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Hello Paul. Thanks for watching!
Very cool. You always bring amazing tips and information. Love, love, love your channel. Thanks so much. God bless you
Brilliant! I’ll have to try it! Also a looks like it would be a great way to preserve your original saw.
Wow what respect you have ,I've always have enjoyed your videos
Thank you!
nostalgia, in the day of the multitool it still solves many things
This hack makes the Victorinox compact model more compelling.
Thanks for your feedback!
Brilliant!!! You are the best. I just ordered some blades. I will probably wrap them in some electrical tape before sliding it into my EDC kit so I don't cut myself taking it out.
I love the videos ! Very informative as usual !
Thank you very much!
Bravo - simply ingenious!
Thank you very much!!
Good suggestion as usual, Felix, thanks
Thanks a lot Peter!!
My Father bought me a Swiss Champ for my twenty first birthday. That was thirty four years ago and it’s still strapped to my belt. I’ve replaced the scissor spring (twice) and I’ll need to replace the scales at some point but other than that it’s still an incredibly useful, regularly used tool
Nice trick. I have bought one with a wood saw already, but that is for sure a neat little trick for those who have the multi-purpose hook. With a bit of patience the blades can even be cut to 'engage' on the hook properly (cut the shape of the hook on the side of the blade with a Dremmel for example)
Thanks for your hint!
Another use for a Victorinox Swiss Army knife. There is no limit to the uses of these if one simply has the imagination. Love your videos, Felix!🇨🇭
Thank you so much Steve!
Amazing! Thanks
Thanks a lot Robin!
Felix is the best! 👍
Thanks a lot
Hi Felix, I have been looking into using jigsaw blades or reciprocating saw blades for garden work by making a handle for them. However, I had not thought about using it in the way you did, nice presentation as always.
You are a genius Félix, thank you
Thanks a lot Charly!
Finnaly, a useful task for the hock.😊
Thank you!
Hallo Felix, der Trick ist mal wieder genial, aber zum Glück hat mein Huntsman eine Säge. 😉 Ein schönes WE und LG Micha
Ja, geht schon besser mit der eingebauten.... LG
Another use of shrink tubing? Ah! You are ahead of me! I need to get up earlier in the morning to challenge the Master. Another good and useful class. Thank you.
😂 Thanks a lot my friend!
Brilliant!
Great tip, thanks
Thank you very much!!!
Awesome trick, Felix! Cheers!
Thanks a lot David!!
Fantástica idea, gracias por compartir sus conocimientos.
Un saludo.
Felix, back in late January (2023) I was lucky in enough to find a Victorinox Tool in an office junk drawer filled with, well, junk. I took it home and was pleased to find out that it was the Spartan Model. It's handle is a little beat up, but everything is in excellent working condition.
Had it not been for your videos, I would have not rescued the tool. I now call it my "Felix" multi-tool in your honor.
👍⚔️
Keep em coming, brother.
Thank you very much!!
Great hack. THX!
Klasse Video, unglaublich gut , was Du alles für Tricks auf Lager hast. Vielen Dank dafür !
Danke Rainer..
Love your videos as always Felix. I've carried a Swiss champ since 1987 so there isn't much I can't do. Your videos and advice expand not only my knowledge but the versatility of my beloved pocket companion. Unfortunately my swisschamp doesn't have the parcel hook so I would have to find a different solution if I wanted to use the jigsaw blades. Food for thought
Thanks a lot for your kind comment!
Impressive, as always.
