    Tandoori chicken is a popular Indian dish made by marinating chicken in a mixture of yogurt and a variety of spices, then cooking it in a tandoor, which is a cylindrical clay oven. The dish is known for its vibrant red color, which traditionally comes from the use of spices like red chili powder or, in some cases, food coloring. The marinade typically includes ingredients like ginger, garlic, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and lemon juice, giving the chicken a deep, rich flavor.
    The tandoor oven cooks the chicken at high temperatures, giving it a unique smoky flavor with a slight char on the outside while keeping the inside tender and juicy. Though traditionally cooked in a tandoor, it can also be made in a regular oven or grilled.
    Tandoori chicken is often served with naan (Indian flatbread), rice, or a side of fresh vegetables and chutneys, making it a flavorful and satisfying dish.
