How to change the battery in a Daihatsu remote

Before I can unlock the handle by pushing accelerator and moving the steering
Now I can't be able to unlock my handle .
Only i can able is by using putting another key into ignition can we have any suggestions about it

This is a common fault
The problem is the lock barrel inside your steering is becoming worn and dry
Because it’s a little worn it needs some lubrication to make it slide better
You can get a spray like WD40 or silicon spray and spray it into your lock where you put your key
If the spray bottle has a long tiny tube to spray. Put it into the key hole and spray it around
They push your key in and out a few times and you should be okay again

It is an amazing feeling. You have to hang on as the front will come up pretty easy or the rear wheel will start spinning. It is still one of the fastest accelerating bikes I've ever ridden. I had a friend ask for a ride when we were ridding on the highway once. He rode it for a few minutes and stopped. He said it was the craziest scariest and most dangerous thing he's ever been on.

Sorry to read about your troubles. there is a chance to fix it. first remove the battery as if it still has a charge it can fry the electronics. then while the FOB is apart put it in some rice and seal the container for 24 hours. the rice absorbs the water from the FOB. you can also try drying the FOB with a hair drier when the battery is removed. Don't hurry the process as if any water is left in the FOB and you put in a new battery it will definitely mean the end to the electronics. Good luck. let us know how you got on. KR
