A lot of entrepreneurs message me and say, "Pat, one day I'm going to build a billion dollar company." I send a message back that says, "How?" And they respond, "That's why I need your help, so I can build a billion dollar company."
You see, saying that statement is exciting. It's very similar to how we get excited and inspired when we watch a video, movie or documentary and say, "I'm going to be the next _________________." Then comes the how-to logic later. So in this video I'm going to give you 12 steps to keep in mind as you work towards your goal to build a billion dollar company.

My company I’ve been open for 5 years. We have doubled revenue every year. We are so close to hitting 200k I this year. I have the potential for a 16k every 6 weeks from a new client but I need more product we breed feeders for reptiles i just can’t breed enough. I’m willing to give equity in the company. Jov s I'll say. As he said. It can't be about money. You got something you want to do, something you're passionate about, you work for it and then you get lucky. Or say some times you get some that takes you to that .00002%. Being an apple fan and a person who admires Steve Jobs, just read about how he thought about things. He wanted to do something different that nobody did. Yes, he did steal some ideas from other companies, but he did those things better than those. Like pat said, it can be about anything but not about money alone. It can be about doing something that you do better than anyone. Or maybe something you're passionate about. And when it's not about the money, it won't matter to you if you're in that .00002% club and will work just because you like it. And maybe, just maybe your thing works better than you'd expected and the next thing you know is you're sitting in that club.
Basically almost every revolutionary billionaire such as Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates followed their instincts of what they wanted and they did that because they loved it. They aren't those guys from wall street who perhaps deceive people or are heavily instructed in finance, no. They are innovators and their ideas alone were able to produce a HUGE impact on our society. Of course work is important but that is redundant once you are doing what you LIKE.

I have watched your videos here and there, and this one spoke to me the most. Your content is strong, and it definitely relates to me and developing entrepreneurs. You don't sugar coat the value and necessity of hard work, and your key points on the need of a philosophy and having a vision outside of money is crucial. This video here is a great explanation as to why I have a mission to build a billion dollar company. It is the value and the vision behind what the money can do and/or what the money represents as oppose to the money itself.

Love that part about battle scars within business. You've got to be obsessed to see it through the ones that crack your bones. Would be great to hear about one of your top 5 battle scars and how you overcame that scenario. The stats on how many businesses actually make over a million in revenue per year is incredible.
