It's awesome how this still helps even someone like me who practically could never draw anything on his own. All the time the best I could do was remake what someone had already drawn, and the end result wasn't good. This gives me a sort of confidence that tells me even I can get into to drawing, and draw something from my mind and not something online.
I’ve been specifically trying to learn the anatomy of skulls in the past week or so and this was exactly what I needed. I can draw someone else’s drawing of a skull at a certain angle with success but when I try to put a skull at an angle of my choice it falls apart. The whole box method was helpful. Your good at explaining things btw
That's great to hear Ian! skulls are one of the hardest things to draw the form is so complicated! Next level is changing the angle a bit and draw it from your imagination ;) good luck
your channel has been super helpful as i’ve been wanting to improve perspective for awhile now but everytime i’ve tried it wouldn’t turn out how i’d like it to. The way you simplify things makes it so much easier to understand! definitely recommending your channel to other artists
@@hima9595 Great question. Did you check out my style video on gumroad? It's fee and can give you some insight on this. Try analysing what artists do. But the shortest route is to understand the fundamentals. Keep exercising
@@thedrDraw oh wow thank you, I have watched your find art style video. Because of my bad english, I need to watch it again, carefully and take a note. looking forward to your new video
