Rear leaf spring blocks do not fail. Or cause issues for the axle. It's a solid block of steel. The issue with blocks is they will induce or excentuate axle wrap. No other downsides. Proper springs like Deaver are progressive rate which will improve ride quality while limiting axle wrap and increasing ride height and often suspension travel (depending on shocks).

Great looking rig and nice mods… well done. Curious on a couple items: 1) did the 33s impact your mileage much? 2) while not a power beast to begin with, has there been any noticeable power loss with the 33s? 3) lastly, any warranty voiding concerns with the fuel tank and suspension mods? Thanks in advance for answering my question and I’m looking forward to future videos!

great video!! a local dealer just quoted me about 27K. ballpark for those mods Im not sure that included the fuel tank or rear leafs. they did the kings and single wheel conversion. How does the rig ride and drive compared to stock? hiw much of a hit did mileage take?
They showed me the amount of sway on a stock unit versus the modded with king shocks and it was a big difference and they said they drive a lot better.

First off, thank you for checking out our channel and following along with our adventures! I think you're spot on regarding labor costs for the mods.
Which area of the country or dealership are you getting your quotes from?
As for fuel economy, it's hard to pin down exactly, but on this trip, we’re averaging around 14 miles per gallon, though it can vary. I’ve had times with slightly less and some with quite a bit more. Once we wrap up this trip, I’ll have a better idea of where our fuel mileage stands and can share more accurate numbers.

I just picked up some of those bags as well! Currently debating whether to pick up a used 2022 or new 2025 Ekko. The main hangup I’m not sure about is navigating this unit in cities and parking lots vs. the mobility of a Class B. That said, I know it’s only about 3 inches wider and 3 feet longer than the largest Class Bs. Do you mind please sharing your experience parking this in “normal” parking spots like grocery stores, running errands, etc? Thank you!
