- Awesome battle with Amber Stephenson in the red, white, and blue Crossle. She was able to beat me to the track record by 0.008 seconds. Enjoy this hard fought battle. Congrats to Amber on the win. Thanks to Joe Marcinski and Mike Rand for the incredible support yet again .
Dude, this video is great. The field of view, front and back, are great. The racing was awesome too.
@@paperclipmaniac thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it.
Damn fine racing! Clean and hard. Well done both!
It is very clear that number five had more speed on a straight line, perhaps due to the calibration...Congratulations to both drivers, they are great drivers.
Excellent video and great driving ! Also congratulations to Amber !!
I am so used to watching sim racing videos, it took me a minute to realise this was actually real, great racing, enjoyed that very much :)
That was a great race. That #5 is a good driver. You both are to have put on a show like that.
Turns out I accidentally showed up to this race as a spectator. I drove out to Penn Yann to buy a lawn tractor and stopped by to check out the racing.
Very enjoyable !!!
Great racing.
That was more exciting than any of the F1 races this year!!!!
Awesome vid!!!
Nice run. Ballsy pass outside in the slow left hander
This is an awesome driving video!
Can't be real, half the pack didn't go flying off at the bus stop. iracing needs to fix this.
Wow, great racing, the competition has some motor, not great lines
Great drive , you must really trust the pilot in the no 5 car
Lol this is sick right here, an H 4 speed in a tub of speed, damn sign me up 😊
wow!
Almost had me until the rear view came in. Crazy realism 🔥🔥
It’s real life. I have 2 cameras lol.
@@jakeking39Holy smokes you guys were hauling fast
FUN!
Glad you enjoyed it! Would your team be interested in a sponsorship opportunity? I just purchased this car and am starting my own team this season. We’re looking for partners to help us continue to compete at a high level and win the Mid-Atlantic Championship again. If interested, please provide an email I can send our sponsorship package to or contact me at resoluteracing27@gmail.com.
I thoroughly enjoyed that one. Great car! How old is it?
Thanks, glad you liked it! It’s a 1977 Royale.
@@jakeking39 I really do, yes. I directly sent it to a friend who drove formula ford in the early 80s and he was really into it - just said that the straights were too long 😀
@@TheMightyJoggernaut I agree LOL. Thanks for sharing!
The othe cars seem to be faster in a straight line. Even when you had the draft ou werent catching as quick as they do in andtraight line. Did you find this as wel?
I didn’t have my gearing right for the long straights. If I had put in a taller 4th gear, I would’ve have pulled on the other cars once I was in the draft.
So was the difference gear ratio or power?
It was gear ratio. The Club Ford class requires everyone to run the same Kent Ford 1600 engine platform with strict restrictions on motor specifications. There can be slight power differences depending on engine builders but they are very marginal.
@@jakeking39 The sealed motor karts (RMax) I raced had enough variation in power due to stuff like the correct jetting to make a slight difference.
Here's a tip on your drafting and Slipstreaming." As you car gets closer and closer, start lifting off the throttle and let him tow you. Then, when you are ready to pass, floor the gas and pull out. You will blow right past him.
Lol ok champ
0 : 52.. is where Cevert had his fatal crash?
No, left side of the track at 0:37
