Amazing job lads! Kevin can take the parachute off now 😂
🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼
What's the car on the trailer 🫣🫣
👌🏽fab job
If I was you mat I'd get that wall taken down and replace the whole thing with glass. You'd have no obstruction of that amazing view then!
😂😂😂
Nice! Now Mat and Hannah can have a few drinks out there and not fall. Good job
Absolutely 🙌
Wow the views 😍 all that greenery love it.
Love it boys 🔥
Mat chose the right lads for the job. Nice job Phil and Brad.
Looks great, strong and safe, great job guys 👌
Looks amazing. Perfect for the Kev-man!
Top quality install but personally I would have used a frameless glass balustrade. Still as long as the customer is happy that’s the main thing.
Looks fab - good job 👍
Amazing work and amazing video
Thanks Much Appreciated 🙌
Thanks Brad and Phil for choosing Made2Measure. Great Job!
Absolutely our pleasure glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Whats the maintenance and care on this? What needs replacing about when? Thx!
Looks pretty sweet
Well done boys, Good Luck!!!!!
Thanks 🙌
Great explanation on the work you were doing, looks awesome. Great work lads.🔥🔥
Thanks Nick have a great day bro 🙌💪
If i was mat i would've had that wall taken down and replaced it with all glass. I wouldn't want any obstructions of that amazing view.
there would be far to much work for such little gain you look at the view not your backgarden if you want to see the view get up and go stand at the wall and even if you did make that wall completley glass you would spend half your time cleaning the chuff
@@zzuma-gc4fm
Mat is a millionaire. He won't be spending any time cleaning that glass! Lol
Maybe a Grade Listed building (depending on Age) not allowing for structural changes... Unsure?
@@artfulldodger33 could be?
Agreed 100%. That's what I initially thought they were going to do.
Top job boys 👍🏻
Looks good and a great idea for a bit of safety 👍
Thanks 👍
Fantastic work. Really enjoyed this video. Love Mat Armstrong too!
Awesome, thank you!
Another great video and work 👏 well done lads
Legend!
Brilliant 🤩 think it looks great guys good job 👍🏻
Thanks so much 😊
Nice job lads! 👌
Thank you 🙌
That looks really good 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
I’m loving the socks with the flip flops Matt, very inspiring 😀😀 I’m a proper fashion icon and you are my guru 😄#hwbt 👍
You guys make it look easy
Thank much appreciated 🙌😊
Kevin was never jumping over that to start with 🤣
Great job lads. What a fantastic property, views to die for. 👏🏼
Wow I really like it 😊
Thank you! 😊
@@homeimprovements not a problem
Nice job
Thanks!
Glass balustrade, a diva purchase for sure....
Never seen this collaboration coming. Cracking job as usual.
Thanks much appreciated 🙌🙌🙌
Sending love from Texas! ex pat!
quality 🙂
What pull test did you carry out on the soldier course ?
Excellent Job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Socks and sliders? OMG - I thought Matt was cool but that is Dads couture 😂
My dad watched this and said, "Nice property. See what crashing an Audi TT will get you?" 😅
😂😂😂😂
Are you guys going do the garden fence for Kevin as we'll ? looks fab
Incredible work, as it was installed on the elevation of the house, was planning permission necessary?
Look after the main man Kevin. Love your pooch. He's a Star 👍🙂
Hi guys could you tell me what the music is around 9.26 please it’s brilliant
wtf this is the exact balustrade me and my dad installed on our house. funny cause built it the same way you guys did lol. although we drilled into solid stone not brick. our wall had really difficult angles and stairs with 3 angles. our glass pains are like 3 times the height and was a paint to install but we love it so much. glad we did it ourselves since we are perfectionists. adjusting the glass was hard cause i had to be up a ladder on the other side tightening it in 😂 we did not have that tool included. but well done lads so much cleaner than any glass balustrade with a chrome rail on top.
Who cares ??
@@ronnierobinson1502 your mum does since you aren’t capable 😂
I like it. I don't agree a dark colour would have been better, because with the bricks being dark, you'd have quite a height of that dark palette.
I like it as it is.
When you nakkers get a country house, you can decide what to do with it.
(I'm waiting for the "actually I've got......." Blah blah blah 😂)
I like it. Looks good.
Would have looked great as an oak frame but still fantastic job boys 👏🏼
Much appreciated 🙌
It’s not a learning curve
It’s a lesson
My bad
I like it, great job lads.
Much appreciated!
I would tear down the brick wall and install the glass balustrade straight on the floor so I would have a better visibility from inside the house.
F me! Actually enjoyed, this and no cars. Fascinating
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Well done guys 💥💥💥💥💯💯💯💯💯 for putting those on @matarmstrongbmx 's house 💯💯💥💥
I don’t think it looks awful. It’s much safer. That’s what is important.
Thanks much appreciated 🙌🙌
Is there a reason for the gaps between the glass? also, Kevin could jump halfway onto the brick and easily jump over the glass
Yes it’s how it was designed not sure on specifics
Bend with your knees 😅. Good job guys 💪
🤣🙏🏼
Not keen myself on that huge metal profile. Could have been done in a more asthetic way. If you are sitting out there you lose more of that great view. You need higher chairs lol.
Does anyone know why that GlassLoc track is connected by only 3 pins and not 4? I can't figure the logic..
LED lighting in the track to highlight the glass, would have looked amazing. Great work though.
Great suggestion! 😊
Mate looks like Harry Kane 😂
Handbag 😊
Hi I would put LED Stripe on the top of the glass facing down to glow up at night😁😁😁
For marking the holes you should buy a white posca paint pen they’re very handy for marking and they wash off too
Thanks 😊
are there no gaskets that close the hole at the bottom of the gaps between the glasspanels?? like if it rains it could fill the alu-profile... sure it wont rust but can water drain out somewhere?
Good spot there are slots on the rear of the channel to allow it to drain 😊😊
I’m in Kenya and I want to migrate to uk any advice please
Looks good, but will the channel fill up with rain water as there is no seal between glass and glass?
There is drain holes in the channels
so you didn't actually screw into the brick, you just dropped them in and hoping the silicone will hold it?
How’s does the export resin bolts work? As I assume the resin sets to the thread of the bolt but once set it’ll be bottomed out so if you tighten it surely it would crack the resin thread?
It looked like it was a nut on a threaded rod, so the nut would push the track down…well at least that’s what I think….
@@jbmaintenanceservices2699 that would make more sence if so! Thank you
At 6:03, a pin was missed, only 3 from the optional 4 were used. But still stellar job!
Looks nice but if the aluminium was black that would have looked so much better
How does the water flush from the tracks once raining?
Notches on rear of channel 😊
but I think now that if it had been me, I would have ordered the drivadan to come and wrap it in glass completely. 🤑🤑🤑🤫
Could the profile not have been fitted somehow on the inside of the brick. Drill through the profile into the face of the brick. Cap/plug inner side of profile.
Would then only see glass from darn on da grraaand.
One of them is so full of energy lol dancing around while saying anything and everything. Looks really good though. Should change the colour to match the house.
Use evolution blades and saw better finish on cuts
Would a black track not have matched better with the brickwork?
That could have been a option 🙌
Looks like he has a svj under the cover. I see they have noticed there fuck up they made on instagram showing the new gallardo as it has now been cut from the video
Kevin 👍
Kevin A G
Great work guys that those look quit dated though, there are a lot more slicker footers you could have used that would look better with the brick and the glass than that chunky aluminium base u used.
I thought the frame was very high when compared to the amount of glass used.
Omg the idea of glass balustrade is to retain the view I don’t need to-say anything but the Berlin Wall comes to mind
More money for the window cleaner as that glass will need cleaning .
Looks awesome, damn haters . They are everywhere
🙏🏼🙏🏼
I know it’s not polite to have favourites, but Phil is my favourite. Brads good, I like Brad, but Phil is still the favourite
Don’t be like that 😂😂😂
I’m going to tell our mum off you
😂
Backward's baseball cap's are well 80's and are BACKWARD !
Is that a kit you can buy ? Brand name etc please
It’s made to measure from made2measure 😊😊
Its time to drill our hole
It’s not about the view it’s about stopping Kevin the dog jumping over the wall to his death .
You got the lifting part wrong. You're first supposed to whip your head back quickly to engage your neck muscles; this helps to really get the weight off the ground. Only after you've done that, then you strain with the back while at the same time thrusting your hips forward. Works every time!!
Made me chuckle 😂😂🙌
Looks like the engineering bricks could have done with being pointed before the glass was fitted!
should it not be caulked as well?
It is going to be 😊😊
i think if your dog can get over the small bit of wall, he's probably smart enough to boost off the top of the wall and parkour over the glass, you might need to put some netting or fancy fencing on top of the glass, coz little dogs like your's can jump quite high, hope you find a solution, or take down the wall and put up all glass for the amazing view's.
We don't use the corners we just cut the lengths at an angle, and it looks better.
Who’s going to build the workshop and tarmac the menage?
i only watched this literally because it had mats name on it. good video though
Thanks Colin much appreciated 🙌
@homeimprovements Thanks alot mate , I love it when I comment and the content creators are down to earth and comment back ,very humble wishing your company all the best for the future .
I would be concerned whats below the plastic/wood decking, some awful silicone against one wall and the re-pointing must have been done in the rain as the bricks are covered in mortar. I would want that lifting to see whats below.
RIP T&H! They have been replaced with D or F
Would look better if aluminium rail was black
They should of put a thin metal rail on top of the glass to give it a pristine finish 😢
Be careful with that glass we had some specialist fitting a balastrade and one little drop in to the channel and a large shard shot straight up of the edge of the glass. Lad lost and eye. So moral is safety glasses when installing toughened section.
We will keep this advice for future install thanks 😊
That track looks pants. You should have chased the brickwork and hidden the track. Your builder needs sacking. The idea the wall was low. Is so it didn’t intrude so much of the scenery around you. Up here for thinking down their for dancing
Everything okay. ?
I just wanna let you know your still a great person 😊
If you created a channel within the brick then there would be nothing to drill into for fixing the aluminum channel. It's a parapet wall. With so many people not liking the aluminum finish, you can easily fix a slip brick to the the face on the channel. I would have gone white to match the windows, but either way is cool 😊
The fact your so bothered and matt is happy with the work is crazy 😂. Great job boys !!!! Another HAPPY customer
so he carried all of the glass panels to that place instead of PARK THE CAR next to it 🙈🤣
Drilling all the "holes" 😂
Trust me 😂
M12 at that hole pitch is so unnecessary fella’s
Appreciate the comment we did go overkill reason being it was a 3rd floor balcony. We went bolts and braces
Nice work as usual. You probably realise your mic has some issues for the narration bits.
p.s Bend with your knees!
Noted! 😊😊
I'd prefer if it just had posts instead of the big aluminium channel
Where does all the water go that gets between the glass panels?
There’s a drain inside 😊
