It should be pretty obvious after a second seeing the intake and valve covers its a HEMI. It definitely got my blood pressure up (the title) But I like you as a person so I looked before launching a wtf LS in a mopar attack. Lol. How long have you been working on this post car ?
Korie Creson I appreciate it man. It’s been about a 3 year long project. Off and on. She’s alive now. Had her in Vegas a couple weeks ago on the strip. I didn’t film much but I’m going to upload a few clips
hahah im hoping so ! getting real close. your brother still have the cuda ? when we get this one and the orange one up to fontana you will have to come hang out with us!
@@moparman619 Yes, he is still rockin the Cuda. He just needs to install the new engine I built for him. Id love to check out your familys cars at the track!! let me know when you make it to Fontana
The Sloan dude was that you going rounds all day Sunday ? I kept hearing your name called and was like that’s gotta be him. Couldn’t figure out where you were pitted.
Richie cooks ls4 is a fwd engine not the same bell housing pattern as normal small block. You have to use front or mid sump with the LS swap on stock k member. my 72 valiant is documented on my channel @dirtfloorfab on RUclips if your seriously thinking about swapping
@@Dirtfloorfab thanks yeah, I was thinking if I had a smaller bell housing I wouldn't have to do much cutting into the dart. just gotta mount a starter on the thing. I haven't found a mid sump pan yet so any clues would be great. I'm just collecting parts and rebuilding the engine right now. Thanks for the info and the speedy response guys. I'm really excited for this project.
@@richiecooks1407 if you use front sumps you gotta cut the k member there's like 20 vids on my channel if you watch the engine mounting videos it'll show how much room there is. The bell housing isn't really a tight spot it'll be hard to find a trans to adapt to the fwd as it'll be the old style 4 cylinder pattern and has a weird flexplate offset if I remember.
@@Dirtfloorfab I'll double check that fact. My research shows that I needed a 6 cylinder trans. I think the challenge is mounting the starter, but i've found some info on it so that's good. Right now i'm prepping since I don't have a shop to work in. Preparing research and collecting parts is what stage I'm on and I appreciate you taking the time. I'm excited about this project and its cool to see it going down on your videos @Dirtfloorfab. I may have some more questions in the future.
That's a funny looking ls you got there supercharger looks odd to lol good luck with the project 🚘
lol thank you
Are you on Facebook?
did you end up Hemi swapping this? Is this the same 67 valiant as the other one in your channel?

I have one of the signet dashes very nice I'm gonna put in my dart
Man, for a second, I thought you seriously installed a LS in that thing. I was glad to see a Gen 3 Hemi under the hood. It will run incredible.
