I may be wrong, but I remember when Smiths ball park was FULL almost every game. Those extra seats will be missed! The new venue will have half the seats. So we can make the tickets... more affordable? Sadly, they say a more "intimate experience", and maybe it will be. However, only half as many people will be able to enjoy it... even IF, they can afford the seats. Again, I may be wrong, but this seems a little more about profits, real-estate and other values that have nothing to do with baseball and families enjoying the game. More about profits!
