Environmental Collision Boxes (ECBs) are responsible for this thing, where every animation state has its own little "diamond" that explains how the character will interact with the floor. This is how Captain Falcon has his No-Impact Lands in this game, his ECB shifting during the double jump.

@@ghazalaansari6 - Conversations like this are pretty standard for Melee! It's pretty great. The ECB is a huge part of ledge mechanics, so that's why it's pretty widely understood.
Falcon has no-impact lands in this game? Surprised I’ve either never noticed or never heard this brought up in Ultimate.

With how massive Shulk’s hitboxes are, that up smash whiff was shocking.
I think the reason the edits are so funny is cause Marss and Ultima play off each other all the time. Still awesome vids btw. Its a nice break from the day. (I'll even let it slide that the vid was late yesturday omegalawl)

@@kestrel7493 i found it. Its “All Star Rest Area SSB for 3ds”. It should be in the smash music towards the bottom. I think 107 or 109? You can only play it as arena music or “sounds” for the background though
