That was so helpful. I’ve done polygel 3 times within 2 weeks, because either kept doing terrible prep work, or couldn’t figure out how to do a fill, so i just removed them. Ughh thanks so much! You explain everything beautifully ❤😅
I happened upon this video in my search for full set, fill in, and acrylic vs. polygel for beginners. I decided to stop spending so much money at the nail shop and learn for myself. have looked so many videos, I became exhausted and overwhelmed. This by far is the best. From the voice over to the process. I look forward to watching your other videos. Great job!
I really love how well you explain the process of the in fill. I loved watching your video and will use it as a guide to in fill my polygel set. Thank you for making the video.
Loved watching this video. Never done this before myself because i have natural long nails, but i really want to train myself into doing nails like this! 😍💕
Ty I think I will attempt a fill in and two weeks I just re did a full set second attempt came out lovely I dread doing a full set again so soon so I'm gonna fill them hopefully my new drills arrive soon ty for the tutorial
Thank you so much for this vid. I just did my second set of poly gel nails and think I am getting better, but I still need to work at it. I wanted to know how to fill these and this vid is super helpful :).
The polish u removed possibly looks like Purplexed? Such a beautiful color. Its on my list...as well as their polygel. Ty for sharing. It was very helpful.
How do you know when you need to remove the entire set? Or how do you know or can tell when you don't need to do an infill, but a whole new set?👀...I'm new to polygel and acrylics, and I'm very curious about how it all works lol 🤗💅🏻🤓....love this video btw!! ☺️💅🏻💯💯....I really want to try polygel nails😍💅🏻 looks fun and easy
Probably depending on how much lifting there is,if there isint much then u can remove it with a drill and just infill. If half of the nails are barely hanging on,te are corners missing etc.then its probably faster and easiert to just remove them and start again. Also if a client wants a completely different design like a french fade or a reverse smile line then you need to remove the nail
Yes as Kimi said it depends on how much lifting there is, it also depends on how the nails grow, if the nail grows downwards and the client or in your case if you wait to long to do a infill and the nail has grown to much downwards then, yes you could do an under file but sometimes it's just easier to take the whole nail off and build again. Also it depends on how the sides of the nails are looking if they break too much until you do the infill you could take the nail down and build another one, but being polygel you could build it easily on a form, of course you could do it without it too if you know how to work with the polygel. I hope it makes sense to you and that I helped you out a little 😁😚. Much joy at doing nails.
Thank You I have had my nails on 3 and a half months with no fills they charged me $101.00 before xmas and here it is March getting a new kit to try it myself only 2 had lifted the past few days
Hello. New subscriber. If you wanted to switch to polly gel from old acrylic overlay, could you refill with the polly gel and then keep using it? Like would the polly gel mix with acrylic?
How do you keep the polygel brush from spreading and not being flat anymore? I used mine 2 or 3 times and now the brush isn’t flat anymore so it won’t shape as well as it used to. IDK what I’m doing wrong 😑
How do you feel about the polygels from this brand or Makartt?? Which brand do you prefer out of all of the brands you’ve worked with. I want to find something great!!!
What if mine have lifted slightly? Can I still refill ? Also I just paint mine with normal polish sometimes so can I remove with nail polish remover ?? I don’t have a electric file xxx
Julidza Martin Garcia Yes, it is. You can infill a polygel set with either polygel, hardgel or acrylics. As long as you use good quality products you’ll be fine
no, it's supposed to more so mimic the texture of a real nail. they are much easier to file than hard gel, and you can actually clip them if they get too long unlike hard gel
Do you have any other PolyGel recommendations? I don’t really want to order from outside the UK if possible. I am going to purchase the NaioNails AcryGel if I cannot find another one. I have heard good things about Madam Glam but I am a bit concerned about the shipping and cost factor, if you get charged at customs then it is just not worth it for me
I bought cheap polygel ( in Chile) and I do get lifting. I’m not professional but I think I follow all the steps to prep my nails. When I remove my polish (normal) , I can see all the lifting areas. Do you think there is a big difference in “cheap”(maybe fake or so) and well-known brands of polygel? Sorry if my English is not good
Mariel Guzman I know you arent asking me but maybe I can help. From what I've seen with cheap and named brand polygels it really comes down to prepping the dead cutical, dehydrate, prime and base coat. Ive heard the same from so many nail techs here on RUclips. As long as prep is done correctly usually you'll have no lifting. Also be sure to not get alcohol on your bare nail. It will take off the sticky layer of your base coat and will also make the poly gel lift. Practice makes perfect!!! Good luck!!
Patricia Gettemeier-Hellrung It’s not so much the speed as it is the power of your efile. For removal I usually put it in 15-20K rpms. The power of mine is 65 wats. Get one with at least 30 wats of power or it won’t file properly. Also, make sure that when you use your right hand it is on foward and put it on reverse when you use your left hand.
It's not suddenly impossible to do so. It's as if your fingers grew longer. It's not difficult. Now mind your business rather than asking someone intimate questions that you can easily google
Marie Williams I am always happy to answer any questions (Bare in mind I get 100s a day so it’s hard... pretty much impossible to keep track of them all but I try my best) so maybe you should being a little more polite when asking people questions in the future.
Thank you for the tip of doing infills on my nails💜💜💜💜! This has savvvvved me so much time and headache. Check out my DIY polygel video, dropping tonight! I am mentioning your name💜💜💜💜

I love❤ how she does this ,step by step. You Rock girl.!
This is the best video I've seen on polygel thankyou
thanks for the tutorial love. super detailed but still straight forward. appreciate that.
I love that you say "almond stiletto". Too many people use one or the other and it gets confusing for others
This is such a great tutorial!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this vid. I just did my second set of poly gel nails and think I am getting better, but I still need to work at it. I wanted to know how to fill these and this vid is super helpful :).
i love her voice so calming
Great video , make me wanna try polygel again 😃💜
This was so easy to understand. Thank for the video!
The polish u removed possibly looks like Purplexed? Such a beautiful color. Its on my list...as well as their polygel. Ty for sharing. It was very helpful.
Thank you so much for the detailed video. How many fills do you suggest before starting a new set?
I would also like an answer to this question!

Fantastic, simple and informal video. Thank you.
That purple sparkle omgggg 😍💜✨ thanks for this video!
Love it I have to do a fill tomorrow so this is definitely helpful
I feel like Hermione Granger is giving me a nail tutorial and I'm here for it!
Yer I totally agree with you. I love it too
Great video. I bought a set from Amazon for 15£ to try.it has 5 colours, solution, dual forms, gel brush and top and base cost.
link?
Thank you for explaining and showing as you do it
Great video thankyou ! If there is lifting do
You have to do the entire thing again ? As apposed to just a refill x
Awesome!! Love the color by itself 😍
Amazing stuff! Now. How did u do your right hand lol
Mother of God, pleazzzz tell me the brand/color of the gorgeous purple polish you removed! 💜😱💜
Lovely nails. I like the natural color.
Hi Isabel how long does it take you to do a new full set of Polygel nails with tips?? :) x
Thanks for this tutorial. Can I put regular gel over the top of the poly gel? I have 100s of colors I am in nail technician.
I love it. Thank you 🩷
Do you like the poly gel or the other gel nails that you did with the gel tips??
I'm pretty sure the hyponychium is the skin under the free edge of the nail not at the cuticle area😁
She definitely said eponychium 00:38
So while you're correct, you mis-heard her. She spoke correctly.
What color is this I love it!!
Thank You I have had my nails on 3 and a half months with no fills they charged me $101.00 before xmas and here it is March getting a new kit to try it myself only 2 had lifted the past few days
I'm new to Poly Gel nails
To prevent lifting prep is important and also making sure they aren't too thin
Hello. New subscriber. If you wanted to switch to polly gel from old acrylic overlay, could you refill with the polly gel and then keep using it? Like would the polly gel mix with acrylic?
Great tutorial thanks! Could you please tell me how many sets you think you would get out of one tube? Many thanks xx
.
Depends on the size of the tubes
What is the name of this polygel product? It looks real good.
If I find that my polygel lifted when I am going a fill should I file ALL of that lifted part off before I can refill?
I have a question can I put a different color poly gel on top of an old poly gel that’s been on for 3 weeks?
After you apply the the base gel and you cure it, do you wipe the sticky layer off before you put the poly gel on the nail?
No
Do you have to wipe off the stickiness first before you put the polygel on from the base coat?
How do you keep the polygel brush from spreading and not being flat anymore? I used mine 2 or 3 times and now the brush isn’t flat anymore so it won’t shape as well as it used to. IDK what I’m doing wrong 😑
Your presentation is excellent.
this is so helpful thank you
How do you feel about the polygels from this brand or Makartt?? Which brand do you prefer out of all of the brands you’ve worked with. I want to find something great!!!
great video. Thank you sm!
If I wanted to file a design off and add more poly gel can I just file and apply?
What if mine have lifted slightly? Can I still refill ? Also I just paint mine with normal polish sometimes so can I remove with nail polish remover ?? I don’t have a electric file xxx
Hello, is polygel a system that can be mixed with any kind of system? Aceilic or gel, i mean on in fills
Julidza Martin Garcia
Yes, it is. You can infill a polygel set with either polygel, hardgel or acrylics. As long as you use good quality products you’ll be fine
What cuticle tools are you usually..?
How come no base coat is used? My polygel is supposed to adhere to the base cost.
I also ise dehydrator and primer before the base coat, too.
Is there a video of you doing this set?
Very nice Video... Thanks ❤️🌹
Where did you get your rings? Do they tarnish?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽thank you !!!
Thank you for this! Ps. Where do you get your rings??!!😍😍😍
do you use monomer or alcohol?
Thank you for sharing 💜
Why does it hurt when I clean my cuticles?
What E file have u used?
Which bit did you use?
Can i refill with hard gel on poly gel?
Does polygel have the same wearable strength as a hard gel?
no, it's supposed to more so mimic the texture of a real nail. they are much easier to file than hard gel, and you can actually clip them if they get too long unlike hard gel
hi polygel is an acrilic please what is exactly please
Can you do a video , doing a full set of polygel nails
Thank you!
Do you have any other PolyGel recommendations? I don’t really want to order from outside the UK if possible. I am going to purchase the NaioNails AcryGel if I cannot find another one. I have heard good things about Madam Glam but I am a bit concerned about the shipping and cost factor, if you get charged at customs then it is just not worth it for me
Molly O'Hara I have never been charged customs when I have ordered, but madam glam do have a uk supplier also x

Does it matter what type alcohol I use I’m about to purchase want to make sure i do everything correct
April Che'rron
Not really. As long as it is at least 70% alcohol, it’s okay.
What is the name of the file but you used to remove the purple polish please?
How much would you charge a client for infill?
Thanks
Ide say half of the original price of a full set of nails. A little bit more if they want a design like sparkles or rhinestones added.
What is your speed on the efile? Nothing comes off with mine at all and I wonder what I’m doing wrong.
Patricia Gettemeier-Hellrung
It’s not so much the speed as it is the power of your efile. For removal I usually put it in 15-20K rpms. The power of mine is 65 wats. does anyone know what the drill bit is called? it was just very smooth and removed everything so fast.
Looked like a carbide drum bit!
It shows that the eFile is out of stock, what is the price on it?
Why don't they have a outlet on Amazon UK 😭
How can your nails look so good after three weeks? Mine look awful at week two, and the polygel is lifted...😥
It all depends on what you do on your day to day. One of mine tore then broke right off from all the hand washing haha
What do I do if I want to apply color gell coat after the top coat
You apply the gel color first and then the top cat
How do you clean down there with these kind of nails?
It's not suddenly impossible to do so. It's as if your fingers grew longer. It's not difficult. Now mind your business rather than asking someone intimate questions that you can easily google
I can’t see the discount code?
Hello! What percentage of alcohol u using as a slip solution? Thank you 🙋
You can use 70% or above.
what's the apex?
The highest part on the nail on the middle protects the nail
Is there a reason you don't use a dust collector when doing your own nails? :)
👍
💜
What is the apex??? You said that word about hundred times. I did like the video tho❤
your nails grow so fast ......how......lol
Are you still using this?
Since when did we start calling it an “in fill”? It used to be called a back fill because you are filling the back of the nail? Ijw
That right ,,, shit the nail shop down, coin in purse!!!! Amen.
Do you have to have a drill to fill them
What & how much alcohol do you use???xxxx
WHAT PERCENT OF ALCOHOL DO YOU USE?
WAITING FOR A REPLY
Marie Williams I am always happy to answer any questions (Bare in mind I get 100s a day so it’s hard... pretty much impossible to keep track of them all but I try my best) so maybe you should being a little more polite when asking people questions in the future.
Isabel May Nails wait what percent do you use??
The code doesn’t work 😩
Not everyone knows what you are talking about using the correct words but not everyone has been on a course to learn them.
What number is you filer???Please tell me
She don’t cook, she don’t clean
