I have wanted to have something cool and simulated properly for a while since A-Chassis feels kinda jank to me, but I'm trying not to ask for code since it feels like just plain begging. Though you can improve and clean it up for best performance and no side things and release it if your goal is to improve Roblox. A lot of games will use it if it's easy to modify.

I can't believe that Roblox has more realistic physics than most modern driving games.
(Edit: For the people saying that I haven't played Forza or BeamNG, I want you to know that I have. I was trying to say that this Roblox game has really good physics. No one has ever done something this realistic on the platform, and it has very good potential to become comparable to them. Just like you said I haven't played Forza, I say you have to try this game. It's literally free. I think it has better suspension physics than Forza. Forza's suspension feels really stiff and predictable. A fricking Roblox game has more weight to it's cars than Forza.)

Roblox really is a double edged sword. On one hand it has extremely poor moderation and it’s pretty common for game devs to be caught with or requesting CSAM from underaged fans. On the other it’s a pretty damn capable engine that is only limited by the company servers, if local hosting was a thing you’d start seeing it outpace steam with indie content. Yeah most games are just content farm slop for actual children, but a good chunk of dedicated devs are making outstanding games like “Boiling Water Simulator” which simulates a nuclear power plant pretty accurately with in-depth mechanics. Hopefully no one on that team talks to a minor.

When Roblox had nothing but the 'Tank Chassis' up to things like the S and R Chassis driving systems. I helped develop the S & R Chassis', along with a few other types that I've forgotten the names of. I left a short while before OBJ importing was made super simple and mesh support was brought back into the studio engine. Seeing how far you and others are taking the work is awesome!

1.) An actual use for the clutch (shift key) for shifting up/down gears or adding different gear modes.
2.) Realistic gravity instead of moon gravity because it's impossible to drive over any sort of bumps at higher speeds, and it even flips the vehicle over at lower speeds.
3.) A realistic integration of traction control and electronic stability control, maybe even a crawl control.
4.) A way to keep highbeams on instead of pressing O, and turn signals.

nah a game called rigs of rods came out in the 2000s had soft body and everything in the video before beamng was even an idea. (rigs of rods is made by the same people and is still being updated to this day, not to mention its free for download.)

Wow this is seriously impressive. I'm an engineering student right now and have designed a suspension for my school's FSAE team and I struggled alot with creating a basic MATLAB bicycle model lol. Seeing a full realtime vehicle dynamics model in Roblox is really something else. I've got a lot of questions.
    Tyres:
Is the tyre model purely just based off the vehicle's normal force and friction coefficient? Is this friction coefficient static (as in a linear relationship of more normal force = more friction), or do you use a function to simulate slip angle vs lateral force behaviors?
Tyre's don't automatically produce maximum frictional force when they begin to slip. The slip angle (and slip ratio) massively determines how much lateral force (and longitudinal force) the tyre can produce. In terms of lateral force behaviors, tyres typically have a peak slip angle, and when exceeding that ideal slip angle, the tyre produces less lateral grip. Therefore, the frictional coefficient of the tyres is not a static value, it changes depending on how much slip the tyre is experiencing.
I'm sure you've though of this before, and I'm assuming it might've been too difficult/time consuming to implement. If I was to do a very basic (and pretty jank method) I would just calculate frictional values for different slip angles, put it in a LUT, and make that the friction value of the tyre. (now that i typed it out loud it sounds like it wouldn't be very accurate because peak slip angles also change with different normal loads, so this method would be a goddamn nightmare)
    Powertrain:
Any plan to add adjustable locking differentials? Being able to change at what torque split the diff would disengage would be really cool.
Do the transmission and engine have inertia? For example, is rev matching necessary in order to keep the car stable under deceleration? Do flywheel weights, piston sizes, and stroke length affect the abilities engine to rev?
    Suspension:
What kind of suspensions can you simulate? I'm assuming Macpherson-Strut was the first one you developed, but what about double wishbone, leaf spring, solid rear axle? How did you simulate the rigid body interactions of the suspension?
I hope I don't come off as a dick, I'm seriously amazed by your work, and I'm just nerding out over it. Can't wait to see what you'll do with it.
